Such an amazing hardware store, staff was very respectful and knowledgeable. The owner of the store, James Hindle was knowledgeable about his store and his products. He was very funny and definitely worth the drive.

Wonderful hardware store that has many special tools. Pruning tools and saws from Japan. Hard to find items included. Electrical, gardening, carpentry, and a wide variety of things you haven't seen for years.

If you need it they got it! Great service also. Just make sure to bring cash.

This place is for you.Wool socks, work gloves/shirts, almost anything you’d want, this place has it. If they don’t they will tell you where to get it or order it for you.Family owned for decades. My favourite spot for small stuff or things I’m willing to wait for them to order.

Husband took over his hand saws and planes that needed sharpened. Dropped them off and had them back within a week. Great friendly customer service.

Squeaky floors, crooked doors, and everything you can imagine in a footprint you could miss by looking down. Like a blast to the past, they only take cash however, it is a fantastic example of a small town hardware store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ask James for some obscure part and he will take you right to it. If you’re only there for a look around or need some tiny nut, garden shears, shovel, paint supplies, or winter socks, Hindle’s has it all. I find prices to be very reasonable for most stuff and if he doesn’t have it, he makes sure to do what he can to improvise or get it. Highly recommended, both as an experience and for business.

This Hardware Store is a hidden Gem. If you need one of those decades gone by hardware stores that has everything a guy needs from a time when guys had to be able to do and fix anything then this place is for you. It meets the current needs of anyone in 2018. I'm talking about the needs of those of us who still know what it meant to fix things, build things. Like a gift from the twilight zone but you can get there again tomorrow.
