We used this venue for our baby shower and the staff went beyond and above our expectations. The space was perfect for our event. We recommend using this venue for special events.

When I went there back in 2011 it was a very clean safe and wheelchair accessible place to go.

Door near arena are still locked. Ice and stands in nice with lots of seating. Parking lot is small and made smaller by lack of snow removal.

Fort Rouge Leisure Centre
Fort Rouge is the home of my fav city gym. It's smaller but also has a faithful and friendly clientele, many who have been coming for decades. Equipment isn't the newest, but it also isn't the oldest either and is regularly maintained. Really jam packed with equipment so open floor space is somewhat at a premium. Sam Southern gets a bad rap but its good for sightlines in bleachers. Maybe change rooms are not good? IDK.

Fort Rouge Leisure Centre
The dressing room area of this rank is an absolute nightmare. Rooms are pretty small but the hallway is where the issue lies. Ice surface is great, and overall condition is fair. Better signage as to where players using the ice surface are to go would be nice as well.
