The terrific gals of Molly Maid showed up when expected and gave a great first-time cleaning experience. They were polite, informative and patient when doing the shuffling of my cats. Unfortunately, the cleaner head of the vacuum was not working on the carpeted stairs (so I removed a star) but my kitchen, bathrooms and floors look great. They even cleaned under the burners of the oven. Booking was easy (by phone) and I will have them come in once a month to refresh. Happy with the service

TERRIBLE! Seriously terrible on every possible level. We booked this company to do a very basic cleaning to a newly built basement in-law suite. We wanted it to be sparkling and ready for move in. The direction was to dust all surfaces, dust the bathroom, vacuum, wipe inside and outside of brand new kitchen cabinets, wipe down appliances, mop floors and clean inside only of 2 windows. The unit was completely empty making it an easy job. Nothing had to be scrubbed, just a good dusting etc.3 people showed up and were on site barely 90 minutes. The cabinets were not touched, appliances still had a layer of dust on them, windows not cleaned. Super disappointed!I called and spoke to the owner Marissa. She offered to send someone back to finish but at that point we had already had someone else finish it. She told me that for the inconvenience" she would only bill me for one hour instead of the 90 minutes ($120 total for one hour). The charge on my visa is for $180. Left message for Marissa to contact me to correct the charge on my card and she has not yet returned my call.Terrible Service!"

If you would like to end up with broken stuff after a sub par cleaning service, we would highly recommend Molly Maid.We had a working touch screen cooking range and a full sized patio door shutter blind. However thanks to the rough handling and sloppy cleaning, we had a broken cooking range and patio shutter blind.Called Molly Maid, Someone inspected the damage and concluded that its 'impossible' that the cleaning staff can do any damage. That day I learnt ' to err is human ' isn't applicable to Molly Maid.Quality of cleaning is however least of our concern since the repairs post cleaning job is going to cost us almost 1000$.Thank you Molly Maid for teaching a valuable lesson about 'customer is always wrong' and always install indoor cameras during a cleaning service to record any damage or atleast get a lie detector test report before calling customer service to prove that the customer didn't make up a sci-fi story about broken stuff post cleaning service.

Booked for a one-time cleaning. On the plus side, they found time on fairly short notice. Between a call in April and a call in May the price went up, but I took it anyway, inflation is everywhere. The place was already fairly clean, I had been away for a while and wanted a once-over including floors, dusting, kitchen and bathroom fixtures. I was not here when they cleaned. When I arrived there were dust bunnies and cobwebs in many places that were obvious, the hardwood floors had some remaining sticky spots that mean it was not properly mopped/washed, one toilet was not fully cleaned, obvious dust in many areas. I didn't expect things to be moved to dust, but even open surfaces were missed. No follow-up to see if it was satisfactory or to indicate how long it took and how much would be billed. It's a one-bedroom house with one open concept kitchen/living room and two bathrooms, two people, two hours and that's it? Really not up to standard.

Used molly maid for my house cleaning. After being referred to my a friend, I decided to take his word for it and use them. I can't say enough about how professional and easy they were to work with. Definitely a repeat customer.Thanks again for the great job.

STOP scrolling and read:So I did a basic google search and called twice to inquire about Molly Maids and their services. I was given helpful information by Sheree and was quoted at $125/hr for a minimum of 3 hours on a weekend. I secured a booking and got a confirmation email. It was all great up until here....read on....I did some more due diligence and found quite a few bad reviews of their services in the Ottawa region. I called them back and spoke to Sheree again who had answered my questions all along just basically expressing that I was feeling a little nervous about the booking that I just made given the reviews that I was reading.When I spoke to here again, ideally I would have gotten some reassurance that they would do a good job and those reviews online were just an anomaly. But to my surprise, the attitude and tone changed IMMEDIATELY on the other side of the phone, she said to me verbatim:I know the review(s) you're talking about. You don't have to use our service. We're very busy. I'm just going to cancel your booking....." then comes the hangup on the phone!....This all happened within a span of 5-10 second conversation.....I was just shocked at how quickly the attitude changed when I was just looking for some assurance that they were going to do a good job. This gives me the impression that those negative reviews were 100% spot on and I did myself a HUGE favour in following up.Now

I’ve used Molly Maid before and was happy with the job they did. Just called this morning to set up a cleaning for another house & they made the booking process so easy. I’m not sure why there are other reviews on here saying it was difficult. Thanks for the help, looking forward to the next cleaning!
