The Ottawa Hospital is a great place however it all depends on who is treating you. Should you ever meet a Dr Redpath from the Heart Institute, my advice to you is to stay away as his bedside manner is terrible. You ask him a question and he either ignores you or has attitude. He treated my husband with complete disrespect. Not someone we want to deal with again.

We are so lucky to have the heart institute in Ottawa. I have been a patient for 4 years and can't say enough about how great the doctors and staff are.

Thank you so much to all the team at the ccu. Our father has and is still getting the best care.We are able to see great team work, but the respect they have for each other is amazing.A special thanks to Stephanie, Mandy, Celeste, Dominique and the doctors.La famille Cadieux.

I am very grateful to the Heart Institute for the excellent care I received just before Christmas 2022. The personal and professional care I received was comparable to none. The nursing staff were terrific and went out of their way to make me feel relaxed and content under very stressful circumstances. I can’t thank the Doctors enough for their support and expertise.

Always feels like going home. Saved my life from at least 6 cardiac arrests over 29 years.Only negative comment is the volunteer/ employees standing in entrance either ensuring masks are worn or guiding people to well written guide. Hope they're not paying for this procedure.

I had minimal invasive roboticaly assisted bypass surgery performed by Dr.Ruel on a Tuesday and back home on Friday.The nurses and staff were kind pleasant and comforting considering this all happened in 2022 when covid was still very infectious Again many thanks to all involved it was much appreciated. You all deserve 10 stars.

So today was my,MRI on my heart ❤️The Heart institute,is such a beautiful place.The two young ladies,who took care of me were Amazing.From start to finish,they were very kind.And liked my jokes,I was so nervous.But Heather and Sophie, made it so easy.Thank you ladies, have a wonderful day.

I wish there were more stars I can give to the Heart Institute. The doctors, surgeons, nurses and hospital staff are fantastic and really care for their patients. Being a training hospital they are always innovating with new procedures and technologies. The lab technicians are great answering questions about the tests while giving patients confidence that you are in good hands. Even the orderlies are friendly and give kind words of encouragement. There is also an excellent rehab program that patients can take advantage of. The hospital staff give strength, hope and empathize with families and patients during troubling times. It is no wonder why the hospital is so successful in improving the quality of life for so many.
