My son has been going here since he was one. The staff are caring, professional and all around great. The days are filled with fun activities. I definitely recommend this daycare.

I attended this daycare for many years as a kid and I now work here under the same people. The owners are AMAZING and go above and beyond for every single child and their families. The owners would help my mom out a great deal when I was a child enrolled here, and the same people have never failed to be there for me as an employee. I would 100% recommend this daycare to anyone. It's clean, friendly, professional, and like a second family.

Please read the timeline of the previous reviews. The daycare has been sold, and the new owner has fired almost all the great teachers starting this spring! Heartbroken for the kids. Money grabber.

My husband and I went for a walk through of the daycare in January or February this year and instantly fell in love with the staff, the director and the program and we knew this was the daycare we wanted our son in. We were so so happy to find people we trusted with similar values to our household. Unfortunately, in late spring or early summer the daycare changed ownership and things began to rapidly change. The daycare was asking us for our recycled items to bring in for children's crafts (I am very environmentally conscious) but the items on that list weren't necessarily safe for children of all ages and worried about the younger children who may be left out from crafts.The staff that I have become familiar with are slowly disappearing (I fear the loss is for the wrong reasons) and the parents aren't even told why but are being greeted with new faces pretty much everyday.I worry that the staff aren't being treated fairly because now there jas been an odd and distanced shift in dynamic between the parents and the daycare workers where the daycare workers aren't as bubbly as usual which makes me uneasy as this dynamic shift is odd.My son gets two snacks at this daycare during the day and we have to pack a lunch and feed them breakfast before daycare which is really no big deal.But to increase the daycare rate? For what?The parents at this daycare also did a fundraiser through the parent Advisory Board of the daycare and the owner has the AUDACITY to ask us for the money we had raised for our children. She also wants to disband the parent Advisory Board which is very suspicious to me as this should be welcomed, as these are parents that are taking interest in their child's daycare. Instead she sees the Parent Advisory Board as a threat.Also, one of the kids had toldone of the parents that the vans that are used to pick up kids from school to provide after school car, the van is making loud noises.Now because of these changes, I've decided that my son will no longer be attending daycare there.On our hunt for a new daycare we had noticed that the prices between the daycares were pretty much the same but craft supplies are plenty AND my child gets fed breakfast, lunch AND two snacks. It got me thinking WHERE IS MY DAYCARE MONEY GOING?If I am bringing in craft supplies than I will assume I am saving the daycare money in craft supplies and the daycare isn't providing meals, then WHY is the daycare fee increasing?It so very sad that this new owner who owns FIVE other daycares in Edmonton, seemingly is more interested in profit than she is in molding the minds of our children, the future generation.So in conclusion, don't send you kids here, looks like there is some shady stuff happening here.

Both of our kids have been going to Grandma Gooch daycare since they were a year old (now they’re 7 & 9). Would highly recommend this daycare. AMAZING staff and programming (low staff turnover so the kids get to know the staff)! Food is included which is a bonus. Cannot say enough how great this daycare is!

This daycare has been a godsend to my little family and have become family to us. From the owners ( who are there everyday without fail) to their amazing staff, the team is there for the kids and it shows. If you are lucky enough to be able to join this daycare don’t second guess it. Each room is filled with fun toys, daily activities, crafts, games, and amazing people.

I have two kids attending GG. I have seen the daycare operate as a community member and now as a parent.It is an excellent daycare situated next to green spaces and ravines. Programming is age appropriate and the staff is professional and kind.I'd highly recommend GG.

This daycare is like family!! My eldest son who is now 20, grew up there. I am so happy to be back with my preschooler. I highly recommend.

My children love the staff in their rooms. They can’t wait to tell them what happened over the weekend and tell me they are “best friends”. It is true there has been changes over the last year but I trust the fact that my kids love the staff and are so happy to go!
