This place is awesome! I sometimes accompany my daughterwhen she drops off her pooch and the staff is always so nice and friendly. She had a bad experience at another daycare in Winnipeg so it pleases me to see her and her pooch get so excited to visit! Keep up the great work!

I can't say enough good things about Urban Canine Winnipeg. The owner is visionary and the brand strong - as witness by the success of her decade-long thriving business. Under the guidance of a wonderful, positive certified trainer, the staff-to-dog ratio is ample. Everyone who works at Urban Canine is driven by a desire and the skills to work with dogs.After taking my senior dog full time for several years to Urban Canine, I have returned a year later with my 6 month old puppy. We are taking obedience classes at UC at night, and two days a week, the staff are reinforcing her training as she gets socialized with her new pack at the daycare. In a very short time, her behaviour is greatly improved and she's much calmer ... and clearly happier. I have renewed confidence that along with my partners at UC, I will have the content and well-behaved dog hoped for.

This day care is the best that I've ever used. I've tried a few in the city but they just group all the dogs together in one area and don't have much, or any, human supervision or interaction. I've tried others on travels, and while they have been good, nothing has ever matched up to Urban Canine. They group the dogs by size and activity level, and each group has their own individual human who supervises them constantly, and plays with them. The staff all truly love, and care about, all of the dogs. I've been bringing my dog here for 5 years, and now a second dog, and I honestly believe that their time at Urban Canine makes them even better pets than they would be without going there.

Amazing facility with even better staff. They treat my pup like one of their own and I feel very comfortable knowing he’s well taken care of. Would recommend to anyone that asked.

The team at Urban Canine are always friendly, respectful and demonstrate their caring for the dogs they work with each day. Their staff are helpful, keep us informed and our dogs always love seeing them.New dogs are screened before coming in. Throughout COVID they have had structured protocols designed to protect their staff and clients.

Seemed good while we were taking our dog there. However, unfortunately we had to take her out due to medical issues. I tried to get a hold of Jamie of Shelley for over a week with no luck to discuss this with them. We were also not bring her in for her 'mandatory' once per week visit. It got to the point where my only option was to email them to let them know what was going on. I received no response....at all. I would think that people that are so involved with dogs would be a little more considerate than to not respond. That really made me feel like all they were concerned about at that point was not getting our money anymore and they truly didn't care about our dog. I tried this place on a referral from a friend, but I would not likely take my dog back here.

There is no better doggie daycare in Winnipeg than Urban Canine! You can drop your dog off with complete confidence knowing he/she will have the best time in a closely monitored environment. Their head trainer Jamie has totally changed my dog for the better, who now socializes with dogs of all temperaments with no problems. Can't say enough good things about UC - THE BEST!

Couldn't express how much I love sending my pup here. The staff here are always so wonderful and they treat my dog as one of their own. I especially like how organized/structured they are with their operation while still maintaining a fun environment for pups! Highly recommend!
