By far the best Record Store in Edmonton!!! Their vintage selection is unmatchable, very fair prices and a massive selection from Beatles to the most obscure bands. They also carry a very competent selection of new vinyl releases, 45s, CDs, vintage audio equipment, concert DVDs and more. This is by far the best place in the city to trade in used vinyl, they will always try their best to give a fair buyout price and breakdown the price by record. At the very least if you don’t walk away with a record its an incredible music museum and gem to check out in Edmonton.

This record store is pretty sweet! This place is stocked with new and old records, you could spend days in there just trying to sift through everything. The staff are also quite knowledgeable in each of their favourite types of music and are always willing to share some of their insight.I’m more of a hip-hop guy so I wish their section was a little bigger but compared to other stores in Edmonton it’s about the same (I really could go to an entire store of hip-hop) as well as I wish there was a little more world music (Japanese, Spanish, Korean, African, etc) but every other genre I can think of has a MASSIVE selection.the environment of this store is just awesome and exactly what you want from a record store, people around you equally passionate about music, records playing on the speakers, and huge stacks of records, CDs, and cassettes to explore.

Love visiting and searching the stacks at RCP. Have been lucky enough to find a couple of more niche albums that I've been searching for for years. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.Isles are a little cramped and might be hard to maneuver for someone with mobility issues.

Great shop. I walked in half expecting a dingy old dark store with some music elitist behind the desk ready scoff at the handful of records I brought in for trade, but I got exactly the opposite.Super clean, bright, shop with a beyond nice owner working the desk.Gave me a more than fair price for my records while I snooped around.I'll definitely be back when I want to start collecting again!

We are relatively new to Edmonton, we’re originally from BC and have been to many shops in Vancouver and lower mainland… so tried one in Millwoods area but was not overly impressed … yesterday gave this one a visit …. What an amazing shop!!! & These guys really know their artists … great organized selection … the guys are extremely knowledgeable and helpful to find your artist, if not in stock they have access to ordering them in from oldies, to reprints, to current vinyls … prices are a little less than others or similar to the going rates… but the bonus is they have a loyalty program … if you have an an hour or an afternoon lol … you should give the shop a look … the location looks a little strange, being located in an older housing neighbourhood but seriously, it’s great as there is ample free parking so again pop in .. check it out!
