Well I ended up with a terrible hair cut. My fine hair was thinned out (texturized to add volume) and I acutally lost volume. Way too much was cut away. My hair is flipping out here and there because it was not cut well. The bangs are so uneven that it looks like I cut them, but honestly, I do a better job. Neither straightening iron nor curlers work at taming this cut. This was a standard cut that did not taking into consideration MY hair type. I am most disappointed.

I got my hair cut by Monika yesterday and she was amazing!! I recently moved to Nanaimo and was so nervous after having a choppy/uneven haircut from a different salon. A friend of mine recommended Urban Edge and I’m so glad I decided to try it. Monika was so patient with me and did exactly what I asked for, and she kept checking in to make sure it was what I wanted. It was cut evenly and blended so nicely. She truly did a phenomenal job. Now I know I can come in next time with full trust and be totally relaxed. Thank you x a million Monika!!

I got my hair done by Jamie and man she is so talented. It’s a bit of a wait but so worth it. Been going here for almost 16 years and I never once have felt out of place. They’re staff and the whole environment is amazing.

I love Jamie. Best hair stylist EVER! I'm always so giddy with excitement when I have an appointment cause I know ill be feeling and looking fabulous when I walk out the door. AND I can come in just to get my bangs trimmed for FREE. Excellent service!

I had my hair cut yesterday by Nicole, first time at this Salon. I’m so happy with my hair, Nicole did a wonderful job, she is very warm and friendly, also person at the desk very nice. My hairdresser moved, so had to find a new hairdresser, which can be very stressful. I will definitely be back.
