After learning I had stomach ulcers, my daughter suggested I see a nutritionist for information on what to eat in order to help the healing process. She put me in touch with NutritionRx and Jessica. My first session was virtual and Jessica gave me lots of information on how to plan my meals. The next month, I saw her at the office and the third visit was also at her office. I would highly recommend her services for anyone who thinks" they know good eating practices ........ she was most helpful to me and her suggestions will be a life long way of eating from now on!!"

I participated in the Nutrition & Mindset Reboot with Jen at NutritionRX. The group dynamic was excellent and supportive. The tools that were shared with all of us in the group to make life long lasting habits to nourish myself - mind, body and soul - I will carry them with me and use on an ongoing basis. Jen’s approach is compassionate and supportive. She uses examples that are clear and concise. She used her nutrition knowledge and her coaching skills to guide to a place where I can go forward with an excellent base to carry on, on my own. Habit stacking works! I was able to add in healthy habits that will nourish all parts of me. If you are seeking a coach/Registered Dietitian with excellent knowledge of nutrition, exercise and mindfulness, Jen and her team are what you are looking for.

I formed an instant connection with Jen when I joined Nutrition Rx just over 1 year ago. I had seen a number of weight loss and nutrition specialists prior to meeting Jen, but I didn’t get the level of expertise, individual curation, and applicability that I was looking for. As a regulated health care professional myself, I needed someone to take me into different levels of science; from the “why’s” (such as WHY is fast food SO addicting), to the “how’s” (such as HOW can I support myself to be kinder to myself, while also making healthier choices).I hit my highest weight ever in 2022. I was lacking motivation, energy and confidence, but most importantly, I was nervous about my future. As a mom of 2 girls, I needed to take control of my health; not just for me, but for them. How could I set them up for healthy, successful lives, if I was living on the edge by being completely inactive and eating fast, inflammatory and addictive food?As of June 2023, I have lost 55lbs. I am feeling like a completely renewed version of myself. I view food, and life, completely different than I ever have before. I am kinder to myself through implementing tools that Jen has taught and guided me through. I have energy, focus and motivation. I am nourished, hydrated, and have even joined a basketball league. I meet and exceed daily walking goals, and am even challenging myself to learn how to run. I am even considering a 5k on a trip my husband and I are taking in September. Running on a trip?!! Who am I?!!Though my weight loss is significantly slowing, Jen has given me tools to stay motivated and continue on this adventure in health. That cheesy “yolo” saying is completely true. We only live once, so let’s live long, happy and healthy.Thank you, Jen ❤️ but I think I can finally admit that my hard work deserves some credit, too.

I highly recommend working with Jen at NutritionRx to anyone dealing with cancer treatment! I turned to Jen after I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago and I was looking for something that would help me feel more in control of my treatment and my life. Jen delivered in spades! I am thrilled with my decision to work with her. Before surgery, Jen helped me adjust my diet to make sure I was eating things that would promote quick recovery after surgery (a success!). She also helped me identify veggies with scientifically proven (very important to me) cancer-fighting properties to integrate into my diet, and an incredibly easy plan of how to do so. Now that I am going through chemotherapy and am being affected by nausea, feelings of disgust, and a lack of appetite, Jen has drawn on her impressive creativity and wealth of experience to help me find things I can eat (and ways to eat them) that have helped me take in calories and stay healthy while my body works hard at fighting cancer. Along the way, Jen provided me with a ton of awesome resources, fostered hope, nerded out with me on the science of nutrition, and encouraged an active, problem-solving, take-charge attitude toward an otherwise tough situation. She's been absolutely lovely to work with and I'm confident she'll be able to help others in my shoes!

This past February I attended a 9 program called Nutrition + Mindset Reboot run by Jennifer Broxterman. I debated about making the commitment at first because of the cost but now that I have had this exprience I am so glad I invested in myself as the benifits were abound.I was at a pivitol point in my life, early retirement, empty nester, menopause and I needed help aligning a healthy vision for moving forward. The expertise of Jennifer and the support of the everyone in the program gave me the boost I needed to let go of obstacles and reclaim the vitality I knew was inside me. I highly recommend this program.

Jen’s Nutrition + Mindset Reboot Program was exactly what I needed! I was very hesitant about joining a group program but I am so glad I did! I learned so many new things that helped me make changes but more importantly, Jen gave me so many tools to maintain these changes and turn them into healthy habits. I recently completed the 6-week Powerful Progress program, and let me tell you, it was exactly what I was looking for. This program focuses on teaching you simple lessons in nutrition, mindset, and self-care that actually work for your health. Here's why I enjoyed it:The suggested changes were straightforward, and I had no trouble sticking with them. Each week had its own focus to learn about and implement, and I found it easy to keep up with them as the weeks went by. The lessons were easy to incorporate into my daily routine.The accompanying app for the program was user-friendly. Every morning, a new lesson would appear that only required 2-3 minutes of my time to read. It provided just the right amount of information without overwhelming me.What made this program even better was the accountability factor. The lead dietitian, Jen, regularly checked in on me through the app's messaging system. She provided motivation and support, keeping me on track and cheering me on. It felt like having my own personal cheerleader.Even when life got busy towards the end, and I missed a day or two, I was able to easily jump back into the program and pick up where I left off. The flexibility was great. It kept me going and prevented me from feeling overwhelmed or giving up.It has been two months since I completed the program, and I'm still applying many of the lessons I learned. I now drink more water, learned how to better organize my fridge, snack on veggies instead of reaching for Miss Vickie's chips (thanks to my veggie/fruit bucket!), try out new foods, and create better-balanced meals with a mix of carbs, veggies, and proteins. These habits have become a part of my everyday life.If you're in search of an easy-to-follow, effective nutrition and self-care program that teaches you valuable lessons, this is the one for you.

Sam was so supportive and amazing to work with! I have worked with Jen when I did my Nutrition Rx coaching certification, I've listened to her as a guest speaker and I just completed 12 weeks of Jen's Nutrition + Mindset Reboot Program. As someone with a greater understanding of nutrition and coaching, I found my weekly sessions with Jen to be highly educational, exceeding my expectations with mindset work and she met my needs and yielded questions that gave me solid answers about my own health. I learned so much more about myself. This in turn helps me with my training, food relationship, body composition relationship and will empower me to be an effective coach as well. Jen is positive, clear and each session left me feeling empowered with my goals and with my accomplishments. Additionally-Thank you for the Bod Pod testing which cleared so much up for me- this is a must if you want accuracy and guidance about your body.

Jennifer is beyond wonderful to work with and is incredibly knowledgable. We weren't just talking what foods to eat and why, we were talking about howI could become a better person inside and out by taking the time to care for myself.
