HOT BREAD SHOPPE
A wee gem of a bakery in the heart of downtown Vernon with a lovely assortments of bread and cakes. The interior decor was tasteful and modern with well thought out pieces. I wanted to try every baked good upon entry. The place smelled delicious with fresh bread and hints of cinnamon. I purchased a cheese roll, bread pudding and a load of the cinnamon bread. All were exquisite from savory to sweet. The cinnamon raisin bread made delightful french toast!!! I was hoping to get a loaf of sour dough, I arrive late afternoon on a Saturday and they were all sold out. Highly recommend stopping in and spoiling yourself with a tasty treat!

It was my first time shopping here. It is right next to the Thai restaurant.The counter faces the door so the cashier immediately greets you.I bought a fresh cinammon roll for $5 after taxes. It's a big roll, but not enormous.The roll tasted really good when I got home. It was fresh and sticky.Five dollars may seem steep for a single cinammon roll, but if you have a few extra dollars when walking through downtown Vernon this summer, this place is definitely worth a stop.

This was my first time..WOW!! The two ladies that helped were great. Thank you Carol and Carolyn. I gained extra pounds just by taking all the great smells. The croissants were so buttery. Highly recommend

We love this bakery and can't say enough about it. Everything we have tried is bursting with flavor & homemade, not frozen. The staff and owner are as delicious as the delectable goodies they sell. We highly suggest you stop in and see this quaint lil shoppe. The only problem is deciding what to pick for the day because it's all delish! Thanks for baking real".Best lemon meringue pie I ever had

My husband and I came in to try one thing, left with four! Oh my goodness, everything is unreal! We tried almond croissant, raisin tart, lemon loaf and blueberry lemon danish. We wish they were open the other days of our vacation!

Such an amazing little spot! Definitely my new fave place to grab bagels. They also have an incredible variety of local spreads and jams from around the Okanagan!

Delicious smells await, a variety of breads and many treats. A bit cozy i.e. limited customer space.Beware the Vernon parking bandits, who lurk nearby to issue tickets!!! Spent a quarter for 15 mins of peace of mind.

HOT BREAD SHOPPE
Went to VJH for an appointment earlier of the day from out of town. After lunch, I thought I'd visit a nearby bakery before heading home, and Hot Bread Shoppe was only 2 min away. However, Google Map kept taking me to the 29 Ave, which was super confusing. And there were no street signs at the intersection of 31 St and 29 Ave either, so I was really lost.The sour dough bread, dinner buns and blueberry scone I got were all really amazing! Glad I finally was able to find the store. Look forward to trying their other stuff next time I'm in Vernon again.
