Bullinger Shepherds

We received our first German Shepherd from Tracy last December (after years of research). Let me put it this way...my wife did not want a GSD at all. Had a negative view on the breed. Didn't appeal to her in the least (I won out on a coin toss ;-).Five months in she said this: I will never be without a German Sheperd in my life again.”And if you think all GSD's are bred equally I have swampland in Florida to sell you...!I simply cannot recommend Tracy enough. Tracey definitely cares deeply for her shepherds and is incredibly knowledgeable about them. She can be somewhat overbearing and when you try to let her know how well your dog is doing the reply is usually something somewhat snarky as if you know nothing about your dog which made me stop contacting her.My family got a GSD from her last year. Charlotte is a wonderful dog, great with the family, loves everybody and is an amazing athlete...but she is dumb as a post. We got the pick of the litter and chose the most confident female of the litter but despite this she's so dumb that she chases her tail and doesn't take in her surroundings before chasing sticks and will slam into trees. My last shepherd from a breeder in the area without these solid german bloodlines, just a standard overbred american version was a thousand times smarter than Charlotte.If you don't mind having a dumb shepherd and want a GSD that is great with kids and loves everybody I can definitely recommend Tracey. If you want a proper smart GSD that amazes you with their intelligence compared to other breeds I'd look elsewhere.

All three matched my lifestyle perfectly.I continue to be a loyal client of Tracy's because I am familiar with the hard work /research /time commitment Tracy dedicates to produce future litters. She follows the SV SIEGER Standards. These standards are the highest in the world, and make it mandatory for Tracy, before breeding any dog, to: carefully screen dogs , conduct detailed Research and study 3+ generations of pedigrees -to ensure all parents, grandparents, great parents..etc) are health cleared and passed temperament tests. In addition, detailed diagnostic tests, such as, DNA tests, bloodwork, xrays (of hips/elbows, etc.) at regular intervals are done. ((Her dogs are also cleared of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM Clear), which makes it impossible for our dogs to get DM in the future.)) At the final stage, Tracy , MUST , also, have all her dogs TESTED/judged IN GERMANY, and include all medical results for Sieger Judges' inspection , in order to, earn the SV Stamp of excellence for breeding". If you buy a Bullinger Shepherd, please be advised that you will get constant compliments on your dog; from the gorgeous coloring to the well mannered temperament. We can't go anywhere in public without Murphy being the star of the show.Tracy was extremely knowledgeable and made it an effortless process. This is my review of Bullinger German Shepherds.I have owned German Shepherds since 1985.I have always wanted a Bullinger dog for years, and this was an excellent time for me, and Tracy’s stellar reputation speaks for itself as she has made this her lifelong commitment to breed German Shepherd dogs that are healthy and long lived.From the time that I contacted Tracy, to when I received my puppy she answered each and every e-mail.The puppy came in excellent condition, clean and dry on Alaska Air Cargo to Chicago.Tracy was so very patient and kind and LISTENED to what I was looking for in a puppy.The puppy is happy, healthy, and has the temperament that German Shepherds should have.Tracy does everything by the SV Standard (Germany) If she didn’t she would not be able to breed.Thank you Tracy for all that you do regarding the German Shepherd.

We just got our puppy from Tracy at Bullinger Shepherds yesterday. We are so happy with the puppy we have received from Tracy. I have been in contact with Tracy for a few months now and Tracy has been amazing every step of the way. Tracy has shown amazing customer service, amazing knowledge of the breed. Tracy helped us pick a puppy that would fit my families needs and her kennel was very clean and well looked after. I do not like to leave reviews but Tracy deserves a very good review we cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for my family and our new puppy. Our female German Shepherd Mira is my 5th GSD, but the first from Bullinger. Although, I adored each one and was very sad when they passed, Mira is the embodiment of the good traits from each of my past GSD's, wrapped up into one dog.She wants to learn, pays attention and looks for direction. Along with that she almost has a sense of humor. Just a very happy and healthy girl.When she wants something she points with her nose or touches an object with her nose, then looks at you directly in the eye. But, is quiet and patient.She is protective, but not rogue, or out of control. Friendly when she knows a person, cautious when she doesn't. She will warn me if she sees a bear or a deer, but doesn't chase wildlife needlessly. Just a well balanced dog and not a nuisance barker. She has no joint or hip issues. No ear or skin problems.From my experience so far, I would recommend Bullinger German Shepherds. Tracy is knowledgable and very helpful. Dedicated to the breed and professional. She has given our family a wonderful companion that we cherish very deeply.

My husband’s family has had 4 GSD’s and our GSD from Bullinger has the best temperament by far. We constantly get stopped on the street telling us how good looking he is. Tracy knows her GSD and I highly recommend Bullinger if you are looking for a GSD puppy.
