Seabright Cottage Rentals

Lack customer service. Booked the Driftwood House at Indian Harbour, NS via Homeway.ca and was advised it would be 24 hours for the owner to confirm the booking. I even called the owner and left a message that we sent in a booking request, but did not have any response. The payment was reserved in full on our credit card by the Homeway.ca. As I did not hear anything I tried to call the owner again the next day, and they did finally answer but only to tell me that they only rent on a weekly basis. This information was not disclosed on the Homeaway website otherwise I would not have wasted my time. I then inquired about another property on Homeway and I'm still waiting for confirmation if it is available, With a little research on the internet I found out that this property is owned by the same people, so now I know I won't be getting a reply. Quite disappointed with the service, you should update your profile to advise that you only take weekly bookings and in the very least you could reply to inquiries.

You expect friendliness and charm when you travel in the east cost. But Jeanne embodies the caring, friendly attitude that, beyond the beautiful scenery, is the the very thing that brings people out to Nova Scotia. I stayed in Indian Harbour. The place was just as beautiful as the photos she’s shown me. And the level of detail Seabright Cottages had gone into to assure comfort was unbeatable. There was a book of recommendations from restaurants and attractions to a personal note assuring me that if I was lacking for anything, I was welcome to contact her. Not only was the cottage beautifully appointed, but the place was spotless. Impeccable service. Incredibly personable. I’d recommend Seabright to any friend - in fact I have, many many times.

I was in need of a quiet little getaway, within an hour of Halifax and this was the perfect spot. Pepperpot cottage is right on the ocean and has everything one could need to keep cozy and comfortable. A well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, WIFI so that I could work on my project and plenty of solitude and inspiration from the ocean to keep me going. A meander along the shore, a roaring fire, incredible spot!

Absolutely stunning 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom and separate guest cottage property. Lots of space and extremely clean.Sit right by the ocean on the beautiful gazebo and listen to waves as you laugh with your guests.Just minutes from Peggy's Cove and restaurants. Will definitely return.
