Bambury Hillside Chalets

We stayed in the blue chalet for three nights while visiting Gros Morne. The chalet had everything we needed and was very modern, spacious and clean. We will be recommending it to friends and family.

Cute, medium sized Chalet with one bath and two large bedrooms that sit up on a hill and over look the ocean. Gorgeous sunset view. Chalets are neat, clean, and appealing with strong Wi-Fi if needed. If Wi-Fi is a must then a helpful trick would be to ask if the orange Chalets is free because it has the router for all the Chalets inside of it, giving it the strongest Wi-Fi signal access. All the Chalets are color-coded. The Chalets are located only about ten minutes from the stunning Western Brook Pond Boat Tour along with The Table Lands Hike being also just around the corner. Lovely local grocery store only about a three minute walk from the Chalets. On top of that, there is a laundry mat right next to the grocery store if needed. The owner of the Chalets was so nice she gave us free fire wood and offered to let us use her own washing machine and dryer in her house so we didn't have to walk or drive into town. The Chalets are already filled with pots, pans, drinking glasses, silverware, plates, almost anything you need (however, there is no shampoo or conditioner provided yet.) Along with a rather large fridge and freezer. When we walked in they had already made ice for us. Chalets were built during May this year so they are brand new with air conditioning (not that you would need it) heat and clean running water. We stayed in the Chalets for 6 days and had a wonderful time with no complaints.

Spent a much needed evening and night here with friends over a chilly weekend in February. Turned on the string of Christmas lights along the deck of this endearing little blue chalet; lit up the BBQ; turned on some tunes and it was everything the doctor might have ordered to step away from life for a few hours and enjoy good food and good company. The chalet is cozy, immaculate and well stocked with anything you could think of that you might need. Hosts were super and had a BBQ all set up for us, giving us specific directions on how to get there and replied to emails immediately. I would recommend this little haven anytime. Also check out the French onion soup at fisherman’s landing OMG. May require a summer visit.

Great spot to make our base of operations for a week in Gros Morne. Nice owners, clean and comfortable. Nice view overlooking Rocky Harbour.

Good view on a rainy day. Chalet is perfect for family on vacation. The blue one has 2 bedrooms and a fully functional kitchen. Only thing that would make it better is a washer and dryer.

We stayed in the green bungalow. Although not advertised as being handicapped accesible because it it not fully compliant, the bunfalow does have extra wide doors and a rll'in shower with a seat for those needing a little assistance. The bungalow was perfect for the two of us. The hosts were exceedingly helpful and accommodating, especially since the city turned off the water to replace a main line while we were there. What could have been difficult was nearly noticeable because of the hosts' foresight.

We stayed here for one night and regret not staying here longer. The chalet was immaculate and the view was lovely. It's brand new with modern touches, luxurious is probably the best way to describe it. It was extremely clean and well equipped! We would definitely come back!

Had an amazing stay at the Bambury Hillside Chalets. Me and my girlfriend stayed in the green bungalow, which is perfectly sized for 2. The space is very usable and was fine for out stay of a week. All the kitchen appliances worked perfectly and all utensils where nice as well. Amazing bed and pretty nice view of the town. Will absolutely recommend and will be on the top of my list for a return visit.Onky recommendations I could make are a key ring as you walk in, a towel rack and wall clock but thats nict picking.They are all wonderful people and very accommodating!

Pretty good, nice new chalets at a decent price. Could've been a 4 but the bed was so plush it took significant effort to roll over. If that's your thing you may love it

Such a fantastic place to stay in Rocky Harbour with every amenitie for all your needs. Super clean with a great view.
