We had such a great experience here. The staff were super caring and informative. I called and was booked in for the next week. My dog went in for a neuter, they called as soon as he was out to update me. He was a super nervous boy and they comforted him from the start. They also kept him there for a couple extra hours because I was at work!Thank you again to all the staff who cared for yogurt. ❤️

Ended up taking my nervous large dog in with an injured leg. First time at the clinic and mine does not like the vet clinics. Staff was very kind to us and the vet was patient with him. I was relieved as the vet recognized he was nervous but a kind dog and took his time with him. Also appreciated how he was able to give me a couple options on how to help him. Not jumping right away to something invasive or expensive. Also found the pricing for an emergency Sunday visit reasonable and fair.

One of the most reasonable prices in the city for my dogs spay ($250 plus tax). My dog is approx 25 lbs to give you an idea.The staff were excellent upon arrival. Very kind, sweet, empathetic. My pup wouldn't move without me, so they let me walk her to the back. I really appreciated that. It certainly made it less traumatic for my doggo and me.I dropped her off at 9am and got a call at 11:50am that she was done and ready for pick up at 1pm! Way faster than I had expected.Upon pickup, the service was great! I would highly recommend for a spay or neuter!! This is not our regular vet, so I can't comment on other services/procedures.

We drop our pet for neutering and microchip only; but was advised to watch a video for other recommended tests done if we'd, we realized the importance of it so we proceeded. Then, before the end of his surgery we're informed for other concerns. We're really happy with the result and our pet was given with much attention. The staff are really nice and accommodating. They loved our pet as he was so sweet and fond of everyone.

I brought my cat and dog to get their teeth clean. The rates were reasonable and they gave me a discount on their shots to have them done at the same time. Their teeth are so clean. I have enzyme tooth paste from G&E pharmacy they introduced me to and I am glad to hear the pets teeth are all good. Thanks for the great care!

Took my cat here for a walk-in/emergency visit. It was late in the evening and they took him in immediately. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and the entire time I felt my pet was in good and caring hands. They answered all of my (probably dumb and redundant) questions without hesitation and promptly followed up with my cat's blood test results and made sure my cat was ok after his visit. I would highly recommend Edmonton West Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a caring vet.

We have been going to a different vet for over 20 years prior to our emergency visit here for our cat Shady.From the time I called, they were very welcoming. I was able to get a weekend appointment the same day. We never felt rushed as the Doctor took the time to go through all the test results with us. They did follow up calls and were flexible when I wanted additional tests done. Unfortunately Shady's health was not improving and had a final visit there. The staff were very caring and let us take as much time as needed. We then received a card in the mail signed by about 30 staff members. This has been a very tough time for our family and the card was very comforting. Thank you for caring. We can't recommend them enough.

I have brought my kitten, Mochi, to this clinic twice. First appointment was for her first vaccines, second was for spay, chip, vaccines. The clinic is small, but the staff have been great, and I feel good about bringing Mochi here. I really appreciate that I can book appointments or ask questions by email. They are quick to respond. (The e-collar was purchased elsewhere)

I genuinely feel safe bringing my animals to this vet. I feel confident in calling the vet to ask questions, and I feel welcomed when they send out the email for the reminder of the appointment. I appreciate the follow up emails to see how the animals are doing after the appointment. The Vet office is always clean and welcoming. i highly recommend and will continue to bring my animals here.
