Southside Pet Clinic

We were charged $88 for the EXACT same bag of dog food we got at the other local vet for $59.They also refused my return of an unopened bag of dog food that I just purchased through them, once I contacted Royal Canin and they contacted the vet they then agreed to refund it.

Absolutely rude on the phone mocking me for explaining something they allegedly don’t need me to explain to them because they are apparently a know it all lol. Glad I changed vets years ago. Now I remember why.

Now over my anger and outrage I am able to write this review.A veterinarian office is suppose to obey a code of ethics, some do not.My 10 1/2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback sadly needed to be put to rest. She could not walk, she slept all day and was not eating.I called Southside and informed them that I really needed to have her put to rest.The long term receptionist informed me that the vet was fully booked and I had to wait 2 weeks. Just imagine your own Vet clinic telling you to wait. HOW UNETHICAL IS THAT?What was I suppose to do to ease the pain of my long time find and companion? Believe me, it hurt.To rub salt in the wounds I was told that the office had struck her off their list as she had not been in for a while.Imagine making an appointment with you GP only to be told that he had dropped you because you had not been sick for a while.There is currently a formal complaint that has been lodged with the Ontario Veterinary Association.Stay well clear of this unethical Vet Clinic.

The absolute best veterinary clinic I have ever been, they are soo clean and they truly love animals, not just a job.... love them.

Rude and unprofessional. kicked my friend from her co-op which was teaching her to work in a clinic environment and told her she should be somewhere that will teach her how to work in a clinic setting- isn't a vet clinic going to teach you how to work in a clinic and not tell you you're unqualified? even though in a school program and was required to take a co-op placement to LEARN. If you don't have time to help people learn do NOT take co-op students. She now has to repeat the course and redo her co-op thanks to the veterinarian here. She also has to pay extra fees. I think he could've handled the situation better and just not have approved taking a co-op STUDENT.

Fantastic clinic! Dr. Brown is one of the best vets I've dealt with. Understanding and always straightforward when it comes to the care and treatment of my pets. He explains the diagnosis and the options for treatment. Not once have I felt pressured to get unnecessary work done.

Love this vet. Always takes time to explain things. Great hands with the animals. Not enough of his kind around.

Rude and unprofessional. Called and left a message asking if they were taking new patients as I had just got a puppy. A week later still no reply so called back and she said yes we are accepting new patients and to send an email with all the information which I did. That was a week ago and no reply or call back!!!! Am now with a vet in Uxbridge and they are awesome, friendly and professional. Do not recommend this place. They need a new receptionist if that's who I was talking to!!

Jim is a great vet,helped me with an ailing Jack Russell when my own vet told me they where closed for the day half hour before they closed,very caring individual

Dr Brown is the best veterinarian I have ever had. He cares about your pet and gives you peace of mind when your best friend is ailing.
