Be CAREFUL when doing business with this company. Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing.Here is my experience.Situation:I needed my fountain fixed and asked them to provide me with a price to get my fountain working perfectly.Visit 1 : they sent an employee to my house, he assessed the situation, he advised me that I need a new pump.After visit number 1 i asked them to provide me with a quote and I was given an amount of $1500 over the phone (always get it in writing).A week later, I spoke with another employee on the phone and he told me the price might be below $1500, maybe a couple hundred dollars off, great news.A couple weeks before Visit number 2, an employee calls me and says the cost is now $1650. I was shocked, after arguing a bit they agreed to charge me $1500. This was alright with me. (even though someone from their organization said it might be around $1250 a couple weeks prior)Visit 2 : the employee comes back to my house he fixes my fountain, however, it was not anchored down. The employee told us they would fix the fountain and anchor it down. They never fixed my fountain, it is still not anchored and they will not take responsibility for their actions.This is why you MUST get everything in writing if doing business with this company. Now I have to hire another company to anchor the fountain down.REMEMBER : my initial request was I want my fountain working perfectly" Clarke Koi is trying to say that I didn't ask to get it anchored.As a customer if I ask you what is involved to get the fountain working perfectly and you send an employee to the house for an ASSESSMENT that I am PAYING for

Great team work ! The team works together to deliver unsurpassed customer service. They have gone out of there way to help me when I had emergency issues. Always a pleasure to see them. Great selection of high quality fish. They even will board your fish over the winter ! Randall provided me with a great system for my pond that included a clarifiyer, nice efficient large pond pump and bead filter system. Been running now for over 4 years and no issues. Staff are courteous, professional, and will do what it takes to ensure your satisfaction. Yes I would highly recommend them.

I'm still struggling with this company's poor workmanship on my pond after all thee years, all the problems you name it I have I have them especially leakage from who knows where!I made my mistake of not doing my homework better who to choose and now I'm paying the price!Not recommended at all! Beware guys!

If there was a zero star option I would use it, I was on the phone consulting some rude disrespectful women named Lauren. I wanted my pond cleaned and I was recommended there by a good friend.She rudely explained that my pond wasn't worth their time and that she and Randall would perfer to stick with the known customers that would pay more then new customers that would pay less. Then hung up.I am 84 years old and I built this pond back in 1976 with my wife as she loved water features, after her passing I just wanted to see my wifes pond running like it once did. But I'm to old to do it myself and to old for this business to care.What has this world come to.

We moved into a house with a Koi Pond last fall and had Clarke Koi Ponds close it. This was done adequately and we were quite happy. In spring we had a different team from Clarke open and clean the pond.The pond had a lot of sludge and this was cleared out, although we appear to have lost several fish including our few Koi that were the biggest, when they dumped all the plant material anda sludge.2 weeks later, we came home to an almost empty pond with a few dead fish - the fitting at the filter and come away and obviously was not clamped properly. Clarke Koi told us the fitting had been attached and taped - it had not. They would not take responsibility.We filled the pond and got everything running again and 2 days later woke up to an empty pond again - a few more dead fish, because a DIFFERENT connection (one that Clarke Koi had taped) came apart. We now have more dead fish. We are not bothering to call Clarke as we know what the answer will be.Totally unqualified people seem to be employed.

I have been dealing with Clarke Koi for years. Their expertise and service has led to my pond being selected as one of the top six 'Backyard Oasis' in Toronto - as selected by the Toronto Star. In any emergency or service issue they show up immediately. I really enjoy just dropping by the shop and checking out the Koi......although I rarely leave empty handed :-)

Needed something to do so drove the 1.5 hours to Clarke Koi Ponds to pick up some food for my aquatic beasts. Branden was excellent, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. My wife and I can spend hours looking at fish and he was patient. His recommendation for a lunch spot was excellent as well. Along with the feed we ended up purchasing 5 beautiful koi as well!

The most knowledgeable staff. Efficient, friendly service. It is the only place to shop for fish products! Randall and Sean are outstanding.

I had to replace a pump for a pond and they had the make and model. The person that assisted me, explained the proper method of cleaning the filter on the pump. Very helpful
