Niko's Mobile Swim School

Having recently taken to triathelons, I wantedto further develop my swimming by finding a swim coach that was not only qualified but carried competitive swimming experience under their belt. I first came across Niko and his swim school back in May and fast forward to now, I just participated in my first triathelon hosted by MultiSport Canada on the Toronto Island this past August. While I’ll be the first to admit that pool swimming differs greatly from open water swimming, Niko’s fitness swimmer program paired with his in-water instruction, gave me the confidence to go through with it. 10/10, highly recommend him for his postivie attitude, constructive feedback, and accountability.

Nik is a great teacher and motivator. It’s challenging to find people at times who can gel with kids, but Niko has a natural ability to put kids at ease and be able to get the comfortable in the water so that they can both learn and have fun. Highly recommended to anyone looking to improve their swimming skills.

My 5 year old daughter is absolutely loving her swimming lessons with Niko. Niko is an amazing professional who is not only very energetic and friendly, but also so great with kids. We had swimming classes when our kids were little but Niko's teaching methods are far superior than the ones we saw before in other classes. Niko takes his time, is very patient with my daughter and uses toys to help her learn swimming - which my daughter really enjoys. My daughter has so much fun with him and looks forward to his lessons. We are very happy with our daughter's progress!

Niko is an amazing instructor. He is kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. My kids ranging from toddler to teen had private lessons with Niko and have all progressed tremendously in their swim skill and safety knowledge. Niko was excellent in engaging each child and motivating each to strive to reach their swim goals. I would wholeheartedly recommend him and we will be using Niko's Mobile Swim School every summer!

I really wish we had met Niko earlier. He is very knowledgeable and provides just the right mix of fun and structured lessons! My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves her swimming lessons with Niko and always looks forward to the classes! He makes the lessons fun and easy to understand with toys and stories. Niko is a gifted teacher in the pool and a wonderful person outside of it. Kids can be tough to teach, especially younger ones. Niko’s talent is meeting kids at their level and making learning feel like a joy rather than a chore.Before we met him, we had worked with three other instructors with limited success. When we switched to Niko, our kids improved more in weeks than they had in years.I’ve been recommending him to everyone I know and my friends’ reviews have been uniformly glowing. Niko is explaining swimming techniques to kids in a really easy to understand way. He's very friendly, passionate about swimming and get along with kids very well. Strongly recommend.

Niko was great! My two daughters (ages 4 & 8) received private lessons and both made excellent progress over the summer. I was amazed at how fast they learned. Niko was fun, patient and encouraging, helping the girls overcome their fear of the water and building confidence in their abilities. I have recommended Niko to a number of friends and family who are interested in lessons. Looking forward to working with him next summer!

I can’t say enough positive things about the amazing person that Niko is and the results we’ve seen in our children. After doing years of weekly group lessons, which we felt are designed for parents to just sign up for more years of lessons without children actually learning how to swim, in just a few weeks of private lessons with Niko we saw tremendous progress in all of our children’s swimming development (the ones that could swim became much stronger swimmers, the ones that didn’t know how to swim learned to swim, etc). Depending on the swim capability level he tailors each lesson plan based on endurance training, safety, technical development, etc. That is, each lesson plan is well structured according to each child, has continuous progression, etc.We trust him fully with our kids in the water. He is kind, patient and excellent with kids. Our kids look forward to swimming with Niko. We will definitely work with him again next summer! Can’t recommend him enough!
