We had Geertsma Landscaping install cascading steps with walkway pavers and a retaining wall from our front porch entrance.Brent was always accommodating and very helpful with the design and selection of stone. The crew did quality work in a very timely manner and we are very happy with the end result. We already have another job planned for next year.

Brent and his crew did a huge backyard landscaping project for us in May in just 3 weeks, on time and on budget! The whole backyard was dug up and a pond, patio and extensive perennial gardens created. From the initial consultation and quote through to completion, Brent was fantastic to work with and had excellent advice as issues came up. The crew worked hard every day and were a pleasure to have around. We absolutely love our new resort like backyard and wouldn’t hesitate to have them back for any future project. We booked Geertsma Landscaping to do some work on our front yard for us this fall. While others were unable to give us quotes, Brent was only too happy to do so. Once booked, Brent worked with us to ensure we were happy with the original design (we worked together on modifications), and then added some more work to be done while they were here. In addition, a friend required some emergency work, which he and his crew willingly and skillfully completed.The walk and small patio with retaining walls is very well done. And not only have we had compliments from neighbours about the look, they also have stated that they too would recommend Brent and his crew for their courtesy to the neighbours, (some machinery and trailers were required to be parked on the road while work was being completed). Although there is a wee bit of work yet to be completed (the cold weather and snow arrived too soon), we know Brent and crew will return next spring and finish it off. Yes we are very happy with the quality of work, and yes we recommend them to others.

Had Brent quote for cladding our concrete porch/stairs, building a two tier planter and remove/replace sod on our front lawn. The first red flag was the quote was not itemized and only gave a total for material and labour combined and was almost $25,000.00 before tax, he didn't even separate labour and material. When I asked for an itemized quote he refused saying he does not do that. He is the first contactor I have ever dealt with that refused to itemize a quote. I decided to price out the material including the sod which was $10,000.00 so he was charging $15,000.00 labour for what he said would be 4 days work so about $500.00 per hour. I had two other landscapers who itemized their quotes and were considerably less. He wouldn't respond when confronted with his unprofessional price gouging quote.

Brent and his crew completed a job at my home recently. He communicated effectively with his initial quote and followed up with timelines which he met. The team did quality work replacing my window wells, re-grading around my house and repairing the damaged lawn. The guys on the crew were pleasant and professional at all times. I’d use Geertsma Landscaping again without hesitation!

Couldn’t be happier with the work that Brent and his team did. We did entire back patio, Driveway and walkways. They made the design process easy. They have tons of experience so offered lots of advice with the plans. The team was hard working and efficient. Excellent quality and workmanship. Highly recommend.

Brent and his crew did an awesome job .we had 40 year old retaining walls which were falling down . The walls and steps are all stone and will last a hundred years and look fantastic. These guys show up every day and work hard .
