I'm not a big fan of Chinese.This restaurant is good but I found it very expensive.The cherry sauce is not good at all, it taste vomit.For the rest, it was good.Quantity is good.

Diamond House Chinese Restaurant
I was really excited to try Diamond House again after hearing that they had new owners/management. I used to love their Chinese food and was hoping that the new management would bring back the quality I remembered. Unfortunately, my experience was a complete letdown.I ordered takeout, including chicken fried rice, chicken balls, and beef and broccoli. To my disappointment, the chicken fried rice was terrible. It lacked any vegetables or eggs and tasted like plain, flavorless rice with a bit of chicken. It was like they used Uncle Ben's 2-minute rice instead of cooking it fresh. The chicken balls were equally bad, overcooked and dry with a chewy exterior. Even the beef and broccoli was not up to par, being undercooked and cold.I was really disappointed with the new owners/management of Diamond House. They should be ashamed of the poor quality of food they are serving to their customers. It's clear that they don't care about their customers' satisfaction, and I would not recommend anyone to waste their time or money on this establishment. It's really sad to see a once-great restaurant fall so far from grace.

I ordered delivery, service was quick and on time.Rice was very dry almost inedibleSweet and sour pork tasted like blood it was so metallicWonton soup was tastelessNoodles were stuck together, undercooked and tastelessI didn't dare try the chicken and veggies after I smelled it.Spring roll was very good.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the other recent bad reviews. We've gotten take out from here for years, and always loved the food, but lately (our last 2 orders over the last few weeks) have been absolutely terrible. Like others mentioned, very bland, dry tough exterior on chicken balls (like they had been reheated). Don't know why there's such a drastic change in the quality and taste of their food, and they've just raised their prices again. Going to have to find a new go to for Chinese food unfortunately.

We had our work Christmas party and ordered delivery all the way to Fredericton city centre, so it has a great delivery radius.It's your standard North American Chinese food. Lots of meat, some veggies, deep fried stuff and lots of sauce. There's plenty in each order and enough for leftovers which I always look for when ordering this type of food. Nothing that would make it shine above the rest in the area, but still a great option for both solo and group dining.

This was the most disgusting Chinese food we EVER had. If we wanted minute made rice, canned bean sprouts, bottled cherry sauce we would have stayed home. BUT hey the hair in the chicken balls and the supposed to be chicken chow mein are no extra charge, and the hairs were really long and we couldn't eat after that. We were trying to get it down, before the hairs, because we spent almost $100 but the hairs were the final straw!! . We couldn't eat our food after that. The spare ribs come in a bath of fat. Totally disgusting!!! The won ton soup...I can't even go there...take a spoon to your flush after your morning pee, it would probably be better....the egg rolls were over done in an oil fryer that tastes like old fish. NEVER WILL EAT THERE AGAIN!!!!!!•°

How does a customer know the business has changed hands without telling the customer? Well I’ve been a customer of diamond house on and off for many years, but the quality and taste has changed. The staff who took the order was very nice and friendly and run off her feet, but the food has lost its appeal. The rice was super sticky, the cherry sauce was lacking flavour and colour and the chicken balls were so-so. What ever you were doing 2 years ago, please repeat that quality otherwise I don’t think I’ll return. We tried it 3 weeks ago and it was different than normal, but nothing remotely what we ate tonight.

Ordered from here dozens of times over last few years. We were never disappointed UNTIL the last two orders over the past couple of months. Everything is suddenly different - egg rolls are small and inedible, food was cold, chicken balls smaller, chow neon smelled funny and was much less fresh, and the rice was mushy. Sweet and sour pork is crumbly and cold. For $60-70 we can’t take the risk for poor quality food. We got sick after the second last order when all of the food was cold and had obviously been left over from lunch.

I have been eating here for yrs. Today will be the last time. Sauce is different, chicken balls are stail, and rice is horrible.
