This hike is 10/10 absolutely beautiful along the way and breathtaking view at the end!The trail will take you to Garibaldi park where you can just go to the lake or further to black tusk or panorama ridge. You can do it in a day or camp over night there and do it over several days. I have met a guy who did all three in a day! (Took him over 10hrs apparently)The trail itself is intermediate level but it’s so long that your feet will be achy at the end. About 20k for the lake and 30k for the ridge round trip. Also they are all very very popular destination so avoid weekend and start early! Need lots of water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Poles and head cover help, too.

Went there in Feb end for hike to Garibaldi lake. Road to the parking is well maintained. Passes were not needed in 2021-22 winters. It's somehow colder in parking than the hike. During snow some part of the parking is covered in snow. Still good availability of parking slots.

We hiked Garibaldi lake on July 7th. The trail was dry and not crowded. We started at 8h30 and got to the lake around noon but stopped many times. Photos can’t do justice for how beautiful the lake is. It is all worth it in the end.

It's a grind for awhile but so worth the views probably one of the best hikes I've done. Jumped in the lake after a long hot hike was freezing but felt nice and the views while sitting in the water are unbelievable

Such a great hike. And even better reward at the top. Except for the biting bugs! Beware or be prepared. Deer flies and mozzies will chase you up and down. But dipping into that crystal blue water, makes all them bugs..want you more....But really, its a great hike for a day hike excursion, go get that top photo.

Difficult trail for a sissy. Would not recommend bringing your dog or the elderly unless you’re trying to do something not kind. Like leave them there…Beautiful views, lots of wildlife. Snakes! Bring snacks and lots of water. Also, there is a fee to park here so pay for parking and reserve online or you’ll end up extending your hike by a few miles.
