Silver Beach Provincial Park

We returned late last Friday, after enjoying a one-week camping trip to Silver Beach. As always, it was perfect. This is very much a family-oriented park and over the 8 years we have enjoyed time at Silver Beach, hollering and loud music has never been an issue. If that happens, one should definitely approach the BC Parks Camp Manager. They are always good people and seen by everyone at least a couple of times a day. Salut!

Beautiful campsite right by the beach. Clean and well-run, super friendly staff. We had a great time! Definitely plan on coming back here.

Great beach. Floating platform in the deeper, but not too deep area of the very clean roped off swimming area. Very organized for camping... tenting and RV. Loads of hiking and things to see. Worth the drive.

Unfortunately a group of campers ruined the peaceful setting with loud music and hollering.really wish parks bc did a better job enforcing the rules.

Absolutely beautiful place to camp! What a hidden gem and so worth the trip. The sand glitters just like the name suggests. We stayed for a week and it’s now our go to vacation spot. The campsites are first come first serve, set up camp and the host will eventually come and collect the fees, it’s so simple and fairly priced. If you find an empty parking spot, there will be an empty camp site either in the trees along the parking lot, or if you’re lucky, along the beachfront. There is a store at the marina and a pub on the opposite side of the beach (both are kind of expensive so prepare for that). Only outhouses so be prepared for that as well. They have running water but it must be boiled. The beach is partially dog friendly. All in all, this place is 100% worth the trip!

Gorgeous beach, great if you have small kids because the swimming area is pretty shallow. Beautiful, warm, clear water. Ready access to beach from campsites. Covered picnic tables at several sites.

We have been coming to the area for close to 20 years. This year's park facilitators are a wonderful family that have taken such good care of the sites, washrooms, and beach! I even saw them washing the garbage bins and making sites all manicured. Best they have ever looked! Very chill and I got the feeling they actually cared that everyone has a great stay. Cheers!
