Overall had a great experience. Ordered Afternoon Tea as a take-out option to help celebrate my 30th birthday. The owner was very easy to work with and coordinate with by text in the 2 weeks leading up to my pick-up date. The food was delicious! We had various mini sandwiches and quiche (my boyfriend loved the chicken sandwich and egg sandwich w/ bread & butter pickles), large cranberry scones with clotted cream and jam (my absolute fav), and a top layer of various mini desserts. The Afternoon Tea also came with a soup each & of course the tea. We rented the 3-tier riser but had all of the other tea-party accessories already. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We chatted with her and it was hard to hear how much she is struggling to keep her business afloat during this COVID-19 pandemic. I hope this spot survives the pandemic because we'll be sure to order the Afternoon Tea again and hopefully enjoy it from the restaurant next time. Overall, great experience, great food, friendly service.

I've been to 3 Steps up a few times and for brunch with a groupon I purchased. I love this place the food is really good from the soup, quiche, scones, desserts, crepes they were all delicious and the coffee ( which I always tend to be picky about) . I can't say enough good things about this place, the staff are nice and the owner is very personable she comes up to the table to see how your doing. The place is quaint and it's nice to see family working together. Really hoping to try afternoon tea very soon. Keep up the great work, I'm from the city but when I go its always a treat to go to 3 Steps up.

I cannot begin to say how wonderful a place this tea-house is. I went there as part of the beginning of my wife and I taking a relaxing weekend. We had made reservations and as we wanted to make sure we got a table. The owner had noted online that they were taking a day off however for those with reservations they would remain open. We arrived and were seated and were very surprised how nice and quiet it was. The owner's Step mother (who was working there alone but was also cooking for us) remarked that the radio was not functioning. I replied it is nice to have it quiet though. We were treated to an excellent meal with fresh pineapple, quiche ( with an absolutely amazing crust and fluffy filling), a perfectly baked scone with fresh jam and (oh so good) devonshire cream, a butternut squash soup ( i could eat it every day) and lastly ( thinking that the first three were the end of the meal) a fresh crepe with a variety of fruits with custard ....and more of that devonshire cream! All the while eating surrounded by a gallery of paintings by local artists. I highly recommend this place as it is a perfect place for a great breakfast.

This was an amazing experience! Ordered high tea for two, the scones were so good! We request one of them to be vegetarian friendly, and she was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend. I can't say enough about how great the food was. Thank you!

Love this place! A great place for afternoon tea but they do have lunch and I believe they cater as well.Tea on the weekends can be busy as they are usually booked solid. Would definitely recommend making reservations. Haven't had their brunch yet but every time I've had tea half the place is people having brunch.Pictured is afternoon tea tier with the butternut squash soup to start.

Nothing better than Kawartha Dairy ice cream on a summer day. Even better purchased from a fantastic location! Always friendly excellent service. Love it here!

Ordered an afternoon tea for 2. Very accommodating in terms of making everything as vegetarian friendly as possible.When I went to pick up they forgot to make my order but very very quick and apologetic, and I have no complaints on the service.The good was delicious and I'm very sad to see that they are moving locations to a commercial kitchen (thanks covid). I hope they do well in their new space, will definitely be going back.
