I love Kharma Cloverdale. I’ve been going to Erin for almost 3 years now and every single time I leave with the most beautiful hair. I have really thick and coarse hair and Erin never does anything short of amazing always meets my expectations, she nails it every time and more. I love how friendly all of the staff are, they make you feel so comfortable and are very accommodating with appointments as I have a busy schedule I like to book in advance and they are always very flexible with what works best for me. If you are on the market for a new hair stylist look no further!! Erin at Kharma is your gal :)

had a bad experience here. I went in for a colour correction. Originally, at my consultation I was told by the stylist they would be able to correct my colour (and that it wouldn’t be hard since I had coloured over my previously natural hair with a semi permanent colour that was supposed to wash out with time). They told me that it would be super easy and shouldn’t cause any problems, they quoted me a reasonable price which I was willing to pay for the service provided. They also stated that it should take between 2-3 hours. I went in the day of and the stylist did not explain the process of what they were going to do. They were very nice and I know they tried their best, but to all eval they were unable to remove my colour. When they began blow drying my hair I said “it’s still red” and they started asking other stylists for advice on what they think they should do; to which they all said red is the hardest colour to get out especially if she wants her natural back. My stylist said they knew that. I am super upset because in my consultation I was told it would be no problem to get this colour out. I feel lied to. Also, during all my time spent at the sink the stylist did not massage my scalp once and was actually pretty rough with my hair. My haircut is another story, I asked for simple face framing to which looks very choppy and the pieces are not cut evenly on both sides. I will be going to a different salon to get the haircut redone. Also, the stylist didn’t even curl my hair, after all that. Overall it was a waste of my time - I was there from 10am to 1:30pm (3.5hours), and I walked out feeling and looking worse than I did when I went in. I paid the full invoice although they did not help me in anyway I asked, and I also tipped well because I know I took up their time. Horrible way to spend my day off. Sad to say I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone.

I have never felt like I wanted to go back to the same hairstylist, just hadn't found the one.. But today I did! I have found the one! Tia is so great, both personality and skill! She knows her stuff. Thank you Tia!

I definitely recommend going to Kharma! I’ve never left disappointed and the customer service is great :) Tressa does my hair and I love it every time! I’ve also had Becky do it, and it was amazing as well. I’m always excited for my hair appointments :)

Kyla at the Cloverdale is the absolute best! I have constantly heard positive things in the community about her amazing colours and ability to work with a lot of hair (mine is very thick). Finally I went in just for a cut and was so impressed with the salon, friendly attitude everyone has but most importantly Kyla who went above and beyond at my service. I was in to get a cut to blend my ends for extensions- she’s a total perfectionist, tons of fun and so profesional. It’s so obvious she she loves what she does and values her clients. She recommended me some of their products which I have since used and their the best yet. She had great suggestions to keep the integrity of my hair while still getting the right end product (I had to cut quite a few inches). She is someone I couldn’t recommend more and will continue to book with her. 5 stars!!

My mom got her hair cut at the hair salon in Victoria, which was just opened 2 weeks ago.The hair dresser was provided thorough direction on how to cut her hair and what she wanted, however it did not turn out well. The hair dresser was very nervous and seemed to be inexperienced. Shes not happy with the hair cut at all. It looks very boxy, with no style at all. Knowing that my mom did not like her hair, the owner didn’t try to fix it after. My mom has been a hair dress for +30 years and she was nervous when the hairdresser started chopping her hair off. She could have had someone else, more experienced cut her hair.

I love this place ! All the staff are extremely friendly & helpful , from reception staff to the owner tressa. I have seen Kyla who is a stylist at kharma & she does such a beautiful job . I got a natural blonde with some of my own dirty blonde shades put in by Kyla . She’s very skilled & very friendly & lovely vibes in her chair , she’s easy to talk too.

The reviews are what brought me into Kharma Salon for my first time last week, and the very talented Sarah is why I'll be coming back! I was very impressed by how well she communicates and her attention to detail is on point. She is clearly very experienced and really wants the best for her clients.Thank you for the amazing cut Sarah, I'll be back soon!

The staff were amazing but I wasn’t expecting to pay $420 for a few peek a boo blonde panels/streaks on dark virgin hair with a tiny trim.I gladly paid and left without stating my concern but thought I would strongly recommend talking to stylist about prices in detail as I said it didn’t matter at the time but certainly taken back when it was time to pay. Just a heads up ! Being familiar with salons around Victoria this was way more than I’ve had to ever pay.
