Shamrock Park (North)
Love this little park in the heart of Corktown. So peaceful. There are a few picnic tables and quite a few park benches to sit and relax and enjoy the lovely shade from the beautiful, mature trees.

Nice, quiet little park to walk the dog in or just sit and read. Nice little play structure for the kids to play on. Lots of trees = lots of shade!

A more basic but clean park, there is some swings, some relatively small play equipment, swings etc for kids suitable up to 8 or 9.Some seats and tables that have plenty of mature trees to shade them.A large open grassy area for the kids to play.A few bins.No toilets though. It is located next to the railway tracks, and if a freight train goes through while you are there it is very noisy.

We've been going to this place for years. There is a new additional play structure too. There's more shade here than Corktown Park and it's quieter. Please remind yourselves and the newcomers that the grass is not a garbage. Too often I see new people and kids littering. It's getting annoying having to clean up after others. There are wonderful flowers, shrubbery and trees here too.

Very nice park, has playground equipmwnt for the little ones.Downsides are right beside train tracks, and also people leave their garbage on the picnic tables or litter.

Very quiet most of the time here, when a train doesn't go over right beside. The park has some wall climbing and other physical activity amenities. The neighborhood is a quiet and pleasant place to be, or just go for a visit.

It's a nice quaint little park. The only thing is, up on a rich apparently obscured from the playground equipment is a ridge. It's tempting for kids to explore it, and when they do, that ridge is littered with some really nasty stuff.

There are many such places which I like to visit. During my childhood I remember we used to visit lots of Parks & other places during my vacations but a place which is very close to my heart is a temple on the top of a hill. The name of the temple is “Tin Jhanda” meaning three flags. The temple is situated in the top of the hill which has 250 stairs. I used to visit there with my mother. That place always provides peace & happiness to my heart. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The idol there is so beautiful. It has both the faces of Lord Shiva & Mata Parvati. The idol looks so heavenly. The silence & the serenity of the temple is the thing I liked the most. The view of the entire city from the top of the hill is so beautiful. The Three flags are always there in every weather. Be it heavy rain or storm, it does not fall highlighting the power of the temple. People from faraway places come to worship the temple. This temple will always a hold a very special place in my heart

Decent little park, my daughter really likes it. However, I'm not fond of it because people go up on the berm and drink, do drugs and often camp out on it.
