We came for a holiday dinner; staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was brought out in a nice space and the portions were decent. There aren't a lot of places that offer elevated food tastings so it's nice to have in town.

July 2021- So, tonight I returned to Kamoosh and it was such a difference from the last time that I HAD to repost something. We waited 1h and 50 min for our entree. We received our entree 10 minutes before closing. (Mine was awful. I couldn't eat it. Not worth the wait and I LOVE food. Not picky.). It was awkward and uncomfortable to eat in a rush, alone in a restaurant while wait staff clears all the other empty tables. This was my mother's first visit here. I had been singing high praises about this place and then I apologized profusely to my famly the entire ride home because it was so incredibly bad. One of the most disappointing dining experiences that I have EVER had. Staff apologized, but did nothing else to help make the evening less of a wreck.My family discussed this and decided that it now deserves 2 stars, not 5.This place has fallen far and hard.December 2020 review- I heard someone rave about this place so I had to try it. Wow. They were right. It's amazing. Such good food. I am absolutely coming back here.Beside the exquisitely delicious food, everything was clean and they fully followed all covid protocols.I highly recommended for a date night or adult friends/family dinner.

Excellent food, and a wide selection of beers on tap and in cans, as well as an extensive wine list. But the food is the real draw here. We had a party of five, and despite the restaurant being filled to capacity, the service was excellent, and professional. This is not a quick bite out mind you, each dish is made to order with precision, so expect to stay a while and enjoy the intimate atmosphere and of course each other's company. The flavours of each dish, from the starters to the mains were complex and exquisite. They were absolutely worth waiting for. Be sure to call ahead for reservations though, this kind of dining experience is in high demand.

Food was very good. For some dishes you can create your own adventure. Wine list interesting. Had a reservation but not seat available when we got there. Had a 15 minute wait. Recommend the restaurant develop a plan when this happens rather than leaving diners waiting at the door.

Beautiful atmosphere, and absolutely DELICIOUS and QUALITY food and drinks. We couldn't believe that we could see the chef making the pasta dough fresh as he was preparing out meal. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be coming back.

We had the blueberry duck with the butternut squash side and wow soo flavourful! $10 for a side of squash is a little pricy but it was good. Nice atmosphere and serviceEdit 3 years later: We both had a risotto dish, the duck one was fantastic and flavourful. Good service! I found it to be expensive but I think that's just the general state of life nowadays. The canolli was soo good

Cute restaurant and bar, considered high-end based on menu and prices. The cocktails were amazing. Tried the Beef Crudo, Freshly Shucked Oysters, and friends had the Branzino.Oysters - these tasted great, very fresh and no shell fragments. All were properly shucked. Comes with fresh horseradish, yummy hot sauce, and mignonette.Beef Crudo - it was tasty and great quality beef. It came with bread, which was good. It had a light topping of Parmigiano, onion and herbs. It was very small, especially for the price. Would not be suitable to shareBranzino - whole fish cooked perfectly. It is a medium size fish can one can easy alone or share.Elderflower Gimlet - so tasty and addictive. New favourite cocktail and it’s beautiful visually.

Enjoyed a wonderful family meal after driving up from the Finger Lakes region of NY; my relatives already enjoy your restaurant and I did as well!Everything from drinks, food, and service was wonderful.It was a little busy for only two servers, but they handled it with grace.Amongst the four of us we enjoyed, and recommend, the Caesar salad, mushrooms pizza, marinated salmon, super huge meatballs, burrata, and they happened to have the most wonderful mussels appetizer.I'm not sure anything chef would make could possibly disappoint.I can't wait for my next trip to Canada!

A hidden gem in Waterdown. More on the fine dining side, with Lobster Ravioli, Duck Liver Mousse. Food is extraordinary the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner or patio is wonderful too for lunch. Service has been great, both visits I have had there. Pricey but reflects the delightful tantalizing food choices available nowhere else.
