I came with a unique problem. The bike tire on my stroller was broken. They tried to fix it for free many times. When I did get a part, they fixed it on the spot for very cheap. Other businesses were very rude to me demanding deposits to order parts. Not them! The staff are humble and helpful. They greeted me right away. They knew a lot about the bikes they showed and promised to change anything on the bike that I didn’t like free of charge, unless sold as is.The bikes are used and recycled. that's a better way to purchase as a sustainable life style than our throw away lifestyles of today. Don’t believe every negative review you see. Support local sustainable businesses for the sake of the dedicated locals and our planet. You’ve earned yourselves a loyal customer. I will definitely be back!

I just called for information about a Backwheel and the man soooo was rude, had no patience, not even 2 minutes in on the call and he became agitated and kinda just hung up...i was asking a legit question trying to undersrand what a double wall is on a Backwheel...he was 0 intrested and made me feel stupid. I would not even go There if he paid me to...i will never go there or will never recommend this place or services cause he just dont give a dam about his clients. If i could i would give him a huge 0. And last, if you dont like your place and job anymore sell it to someone that does !!!

I was hesitant to bring my bike here but I am very satisfied with my experience! I came in with a broken axle (Foster's turned me away saying they couldn't fix it). The guys at the bike dump got me a new wheel and also fixed my brakes and pumped up the tires too. Very fair price and fast service. I had a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Well lets say the service was really bad there.First off I purchased a bike and the taller man with sunglasses overinflated the tire so as to cause me to bring it back so he could charge me more; as it was the back tire.So after a managed to get another bike I brought it back as to get a quote and to give them another chance. I was told no problem by another different mechanic and it would only cost about $60.00.So today I brought it back to be fixed and the owner told me a completely different story and wanted to charge even more.I understand that people need to make money but to set up a situation to be a confrontation and a negative experience, they could have been nicer and more positive.I suggest finding a less shady, more honest and positive bike place in Ottawa.

Needed 3 chainring bolts and hoped maybe they would have. They did.But first, Owner was in front if store with some bikes and basically ordered me to take one / help out, and follow him. I did. Then told me where to put it. Then asked what can I do for you?" Unique personality. He had the bolts I needed. was very very reasonable on price."

The Bike Dump is fantastic. The crew are friendly and the prices are very affordable & reasonable.I went in to get my rear bike tire fixed, and they fixed it within 15 minutes , and they also oiled my wheels & pedals, and added a metal crimp to my rear bike break cord (which I hadn't asked them to do, but it was so nice!). Very impressed with their service and prices. I will definitely go back again for future bike needs.

In the market for a used bike. Checked out a few stores and online marketplaces. Bike Dump by far has to most jacked up prices. I was quite shocked seeing the high prices of rusted up beaters with average components yesterday. Re-cycles, right down the street, is a much better spot, or just use facebook or kijiji.

I've had a couple great experiences here buying recycled bikes. Bought an old bike for cheap to ride through the winter so I didn't have to worry about salt damaging my good bike. Then went back in the spring to get a bike in better shape for the warmer months. Everyone was helpful and set expectations that the bikes are used and recycled. Don't expect them to look brand new, but they're much cheaper than brand new bikes and still work really great!

Had a great experience with Dave and co. after buying a new-to-me bike there.Very down to earth crew that know their stuff. After having the bike for a couple weeks and bringing it back for the (included in purchase price) tune-up, they replaced a wonky back tire at no cost. They also wouldn't take any money for tuning up my wife's vintage bike, which wasn't even purchased there.Great service, will be back for any of our future cycling needs.
