Carlo's NOFRILLS North York

I go here once a week and find that it is clean and the staff are kind. I love PC brands and find that they are such a great value. Also, although it is No Frills, it has organic sections throughout the store. It makes it easier to buy healthier options on a budget. I truly appreciate the wide selection of almond and peanut butters, organic frozen fruits and yogurts.They were sold out of the Liberté Greek yogurt but I found a PC Greek yogurt for the same price.It can be busy there but they have a self checkout which makes things quick and easy.

Today your milk had no date. When I informed dairy via cashier phone, they gave a condescending answer that I don’t have to buy it and it is what it is. Head cashier wouldn’t bring the dairy people on the floor and when asked for their name, cashiers all claimed they didn’t know. When I asked for head cashier and self checkout cashiers name, they ran away like I have COVID. No name tag on anyone. Yesterday you had 4 crates of expired milk on the floor and I had to fight with the same cashiers to inform the dairy. Dairy has been slacking for weeks by not reducing prices like everywhere else. The no date milk was in the Dec 18 milk crate so it is most likely expired. Many old people with bad eyesight shop here you guys could really poison someone. Absolutely embarrassing. 1 long time customer and invest gone. Not to mention I have seen the dairy people throw around merchandise all the time with frustration.

Bought a jar of cashew and Omega plus egg there. Found out that the seal of the cashew was opened and I thrown it away cause I don't feel to eat the cashew that is unsealed by some random strangers, and 4 of the eggs are unlabeled with the BB date. I don't know if they are supposed to be in the Omega plus egg pack at the first time.

They have EVERYTHING you want in stock. Amazing in-store sales that are not flyer features. It means you can get everything in weekly flyer deals and expect to find more additional discounts.Alas too far from my place :(

1 star cuz the state of the trolleys are beyond ridiculous! How often are your trolleys serviced/maintained? I visited the store today & everytime i made a right turn, the wheel goes haywire and the trolley hits something....very, very annoying!

Good selections and organized however the Johnson baby body cologne is expired already

My recent experience shopping at Carlo’s NOFRILLS at CENTRE POINT. While I appreciate the wide variety of items have available, I have had a recurring issue with the shopping carts.I have found it extremely difficult to push the carts out of the store and towards my car. The wheels seem to be stuck or uneven, making it a frustrating and time-consuming experience.Other than that it was all good .

I visited this NoFrills for the first time today. Large, very nice store with fresh seafood and a great selection. I browsed the store before picking up the things I needed. My experience turned sour quickly when I asked an employee where the sugar was. His reply was dismissive and vague so I asked for an isle number. He was stocking a shelf and got visibly upset with a raised voice because I bothered him. I mentioned this incident to customer service. The girl there was much nicer. The rude guy was Asian, thin moustache, glasses. I think he would benefit from a bit of customer service training.

Bought the tangerine for 4 days and I kept it at a dry and cool place. When I came home it turned bad like this. I checked the receipt, it says “return within 14 days and exclusions may apply. See store for exclusions.” I went to the customer service. The lady was cold tone and told me produce must be returned in 2 days. I said politely that I understand there is exclusions and can you show me where the 2 days return policy for produce? I’m expecting some poster in the store should do so. She just told me very cold that there is nothing to show me the policy. No where shows the policy. I think this is so dishonest to customers. Fresh produce gone bad in such few days and no policy to show me. Very cold very cold and disrespectful service.

This No Frills has a lot of Kosher options; which is to say a dedicated aisle for those who have those needs. Otherwise, it's a pretty standard No Frills. There was a reasonable mix of self checkouts vs. standard ones, and the produce seemed to be decent.
