I just turned 18 and this is my first time doing the renewal alone. My sister also did not have much experience. Mou Jana was extremely helpful and she guided us very paitiently. Extremely helpful and good person. She checked through my application and pointed out the corrections paitiently.

Firstly, Lincoln address is wrong!! Go to 1002 Sherbrooke West, at metro Peel. Entry at 1000 and go down to metro floor.The place is very close peel metro. It can be accessed directly from metro .They changed the office as before it used to be same location but different office suite.Also, the staff looks gentle as previous staff were crazy awful and ludicrous. Yet, I find it pretty messy in terms of token and line system. As I didn’t understand if ppl with appointment does have special priority over ppl who come directly through walk in .It can get crazy busy. And not too much seating and ppl try to interrupt the lines and try to reach the counter. The staff can get annoyed for sure as others are trying to interrupt.It has walk-in though but, it’s highly recommended to have appointment in prior. They provide you with token number if you come with out prior appointment and they also have a token display board which doesn’t work . Not sure if it’s under repair.I have to go to the receptionist and tell her that my appointment is around particular time , so they can verify my appointment time on the system. It’s also mentioned clear on BLS website that we should come 5 min before our appointment.Again, I don’t blame the staff as they are trying to do the job and be courteous to everyone .It’s a Govt related work and they need to check each individual information and they will let us know if there are errors on our file but, they don’t correct them using white marker . Simply, they don’t accept if there are errors. Therefore, it’s our duty to put correct information on the file prior to submission.The photo services were quite slow as I didn’t take pic over there but, I’ve noticed there seem to be an issue where it took quite a while to snap a pic for one applicant.Yet, they surely can annoyed over the time based on applicants rude behaviours.Overall, my exp was pleasant. They do have postal services which they won’t mention the price unless you ask how much is it.Also, I would like to see more enhancements so, that foreigners who are willing to visit India can get nice vibes straight from BLS itself ☺️

I went there to obtain my Indian passport surrender certificate. I reached there by 7:50 am (walk-in) and I was 4th in the queue. The staff was courteous and the whole process took me close to 30 min. I was out by 9:00 am.

I had a problem with my documents and parcel delivery, but MOU JANA solved it immediately. The whole process took 40 minutes. I reached there at 5 in the Morning and got first ticket.Overall I had very good experience over there, and big thanks to MOU JANA for being very polite and supportive to me.❤️

With Apointment took 40 minutes for surrender certificate for two person. Need separate Apointment for each.Walk in is open but have to wait longer.Surrender certificate filled form details should be same as per indian passport. If any changes in Canadian passport need affidavit for that.Address is located on Sherbrooke st W as well you also can enter through METCALFE ST. i have attached photos for door to enter. BLS office is in basement level ( Last Ground floor ).

I went directly, there were very less people surprisingly and Very great service by the team. Mou Jana handled my profile and she was very welcoming and quick.Had a Great experience, Thanks!

I would like to thank Mou Jana who made my application process very smooth with her patience and determination. I made mistake in my application but Mou Jana helped me in rectifying at the spot and assisted me with utmost diligence and patience which is much appreciable. Overall the staff is cooperative and very good. Thank you for such services.

I had a very nice experience with BLS Montreal Centre. I went with an appointment. The staffs were extremely good, warm welcoming and also immensely patient. They checked all our documents thoroughly and verified each details with supporting documents. Staffs were good enough to advise on all queries and make us feel comfortable. Overall my experience was great and we were delighted with the BLS service in Montreal.I would like to thank Mou Jana and much appreciated all her efforts. Keep up the Good Work...!!!

It's an Indian office and it follows Indian office ethics. No need for an appointment, just walk in and you will get a token and quick service. Only one counter for appointments and 3 are for walk-ins. I came via appointment and waited for longer than the ones who just walked in with my 1 year and 5 year old kids. YOU have to tell everything upfront, or else you will pay money twice because you paid online too and didn't tell them upfront. No one will check or ask if you paid already. Booking for photography and photocopies online is a waste of money.

These ladies are super quick and super efficient. I was in and out in under an hour. The lady who was processing my application was knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently. For some reason, their online appointment scheduler was not working until last month but when I tried earlier this week, it worked out and I went there with an appointment. There were 3 more people besides me and they were all processed quickly. Please understand that BLS is a liaison between the High Commission and us, so they do have perform a thorough due diligence of paperwork before they send the application forward. I would much prefer that they point any omissions in my application and ask me to return with a corrected application rather than pay the fees and have the High Commission reject my application. All in all, only positive things to say about this service, which I am very thankful for instead of having to travel to Ottawa.
