Made arrangements to check out a neoclassic car, so I had a relative come with me on a 5 hour (each way) trip, buy meals, spend a night in a hotel only to be refused a short test drive as a last check before buying it for tens of thousands of dollars. Was ready to buy it within the hour and drive it home but walked away instead. Makes me wonder if a test drive would have exposed any issues.

Lee is dishonest, rude and a scammer. Do not be fooled by this con man. His mechanic installed rear wheel seals backwards on the Mustang I bought from him, and when discussing the problem Lee went so far as to say my mechanic removed the seals and reinstalled them backwards to justify doing work on my car. Lee obviously knows little or nothing about automobile service since there is no way to remove wheel seals without destroying them, let alone reinstalling them. I showed a picture of how Lee's mechanic installed the seals to 3 different mechanics, who all told me the seals were installed backwards and would have caused a catastrophic rear end failure on my upcoming 8000km trip. When pressed about the issue, he refuses to acknowledge that his mechanic made a mistake or to make any restitution of any kind and his response to me concerning the matter was F... off. Avoid this place and this ignorant individual. Lee now reminds me of the old saying you can tell when a car salesman is lieing....his lips are moving". I wish I could give a negative star rating

Purchased a 2002 corvette late December 2022. Drove it home and put it away for winter. Finally, I had a chance to drive it a few times this April. Unfortunately I had an issue with the power window. Although it was past the warranty, l thought l would reach out to Lee. So glad l did, he asked me to bring him the car. The checked it out, found the trouble, ordered and replaced the defective parts. He took care of everything including the bill. Just want to thank Lee for the fine service. Extremely happy with the car and service received from Lee Monroe garage. Thank you.

Bought my 2013 Mini Cooper JCW from Lee Munro’s Garage and so impressed with him and his team on the condition and low mileage of the vehicles that they sell. They don't allow test drives - lol! Went in as a serious and local buyer, had two options I liked on the lot, not sports cars, but small SUVs. Was told they don't allow test drives at all - not even with deposit. Not a chance I'm giving them my money before taking a used car around the block. What a joke!!!As an update, I did have a poor experience in the shop, and the owner called me to all out berate me for leaving a poor review. Not once was I asked why I was unhappy with my experience, rather yelled at and called an internet troll. When I pointed out it wasn’t obvious on their site they don’t allow drives, I was asked if I have google, and told it was written all over. I still don’t see that on the site.I advised of my poor experience and was told the rep is adorable, to which I replied that I’d like a helpful sales rep. I was eventually told by the owner “I should be strangled” by him for leaving a pod review about my poor experience. Am I ever glad I didn’t follow their process of purchasing the vehicle to be able to return, I can’t imagine what the response would have been.Many reviews indicate this man has been rude and intimidating - listen to them. What a terrible experience. One star earned!

Highly recommend working with Lee Munro and his team. If you are looking for quality and honesty , look no further than Lees organization in Paris , Ontario. I acquired a 1970 Oldsmobile from Lee , he provided me with his assessment of the car prior to my acquiring it and offered a 72 hour no questions asked return policy should I find something with the car that wasn’t to my satisfaction. Suffice to say , after my assessment I was comfortable that Lee provided a quality car and was honest about what minor issues were involved ( it’s a 50 plus year old car so nothing I didn’t expect) If you are considering a deal with Lee and team , don’t hesitate .

I have bought two BMW Z4s from Lee Munro and have been consistently impressed by him and his organization. The first Z4 was 15 years old but in beautiful condition with relatively low mileage - the vehicle performed beautifully. This summer I traded up to a newer Z4 with Lee and he was fantastic to work with throughout the trade up. The thing that is so unique about Lee is that he is a real car guy - he loves good cars and knows where and how to find them. Where do you find a quality car, at a great price, sold by an honest dealer without wondering if you got the best car or the best deal?By June 2020, my wife and were getting tired of looking for a specific car for several years and when we found yet another one listed on AutoTrader, we went to Lee Munro's garage without huge expectations....wow, we couldn't have been more surprised! We'd been to other dealers and even private sales but Lee was very straight forward and extremely informative. Yet his His Gold Seal sales policy was unique in that we couldn't take the car for a test drive but instead if we were truly interested in the car, we could buy it outright with the option of a fully refundable purchase if we weren't completely satisfied within 72 hours. So we went out on a limb and bought the car, thinking we would have nothing to loose. We took it home and immediately took it to our own mechanic. Sure enough, there was an uncommon and somewhat hidden problem requiring potential work in the near future in a front end part....it would likely need replacement before long and an estimate came back that we were not very thrilled to ponder. I called Lee and tried to briefly discuss the issue, however Lee very simply and honestly apologized that his staff had only a short time to review the car, prior to listing it and apologized for missing it. He suggested I send him the estimate or simply return the car for either my money back, or we could allow Lee to correct the issue. We quickly returned the car to him and at no extra cost to us, Lee stood behind his Gold Seal rating and replaced the front end part, at his expense! We were dumb-struck...where do you find this kind of honest sales or service in a car dealership!?! Well, I can answer my own question and tell you from first hand experience that you'll find honesty, integrity and quality cars at Lee Munro's Garage! His polite and efficient staff even provided me with a copy of the work order for the work Lee had done to resolve my concern. Lee stood by his word to be sure that he sold us a quality car, that he was confident would be worth the investment, at an unbeatable cost!. And here we sit almost a year later and can say with all honesty - if you're looking for a quality car, at a great price, sold by an honest dealer without wondering if you got the best car or the best deal, go to Lee Munro's Garage.
