Therapeutic Streams
I’ve seen Dr. Ryan Lisowski twice now and right away was able to figure out what was going on and where my pain was stemming from. Very informative and easy to understand. A welcoming staff as well!I highly recommend getting Chiro services here!

I go to Therapuetic Streams for both massage and chiropractic treatments. Sharon, an RMT, provides excellent therapeutic messages, and is quite knowledgeable. Ryan, the chiropractor at the clinic, is also very knowledgeable, and his treatment plans are fair and well-designed for home use. I have had excellent success with both of these practitioners’ suggestions and treatments! I will continue visiting this clinic for my relaxation and injury- related needs!

I’ve booked with Merdy 3 times. Every time has been an incredible experience. I’ve always walked away feeling relaxed and she really knows what she’s doing. Merdy is sure to ask how the pressure is at all times and gives a breakdown of her techniques and is sure to ask you before hand where your pain is and what you want to focus on. Great location as well!

Therapeutic Streams
I visited Therapeutic Streams today for the first time to have a 45 min shoulder/neck massage with Merdy. She was amazing and knew exactly where I needed relief and with what kind of pressure, and helped release my tension right away. She explained how I can relax my tension at home and I already feel so much less tense after one visit. She was also so kind and made me feel comfortable right away. This was the best massage I’ve ever had and I will definitely be going back. I 100% recommend!

Therapeutic Streams
This place is unprofessional. Save yourself from horrible customer service and steer clear of Therapeutic Streams.I requested direct billing to Green Shield Canada and they ensured they would direct bill GSC. GSC is a highly reputable company that works with major organizations such as the City of Toronto. After my visit, they tell me they cannot process my coverage and that without a doctor's note, they will not be able to use my benefits. They requested I pay for services up front and owner confirmed over the phone to his staff that I could get a doctor's note at a later time and that this happens all the time. I return with a doctor's note and sure enough they cannot process it. Instead of admitting their mistake, (they should be asking new clients to bring a doctor's note if it is their first visit - the onis is on the busines to educate their new clients on new procedures) they ask me to return to the doctor to see if they would change dates instead.Terrible company you can see how they run their business. I have visited multiple RMTs, physiotherapists, dentists and optometrists and not once place has ever given me a problem with my benefit plan.Additionally, the RMT I had just got done with college and barely has experience. There are other places out there. Do some research and find something better.Response to owner's reply:The fact and the matter is as mentioned every single health professional services company does in fact know exactly how Green Shield Canada operates. Staff were not properly trained on what to ask clients. The owner and front desk staff themselves as you can see in their detailed reply would rather blame the client than help. To be clear once again, they are requesting to provide them with a pre-dated doctors note which is not legal. The doctors office can only print a note for the day of visit. As you can see they are trying very hard to cover up their mistake when it should be practice to be asking a new patient to bring a doctor's note. This is a new requirement and if they were doing their jobs properly and training their staff properly, this would not be an issue. To be more clear, we had paid close to $180 to them and the owner himself ensured us over the phone at the practice that this was commonly rectified with a pre-dated doctor's note. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED AT ANY DOCTORS CLINIC. THEY JUST LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH. As mentioned you can do your own research.Nope, as you can see this company replies to every negative comment in detail because they are very defensive. The front counter staff said if she was working she would have checked the doctor's note and would not have allowed me to proceed without it. So staff are not properly trained and I aimed the comment at one single RMT because they literally specified they just completed their diploma but you can see how they dismiss my commment saying I said all their RMTs are bad when it's impossible for me to know. I'm coming for a positive experience to a place like this, not a negative one.Highest 'caliper'. Got it!I obviously cannot get a correct doctor's note because it is not legal. Follow the regulations and tell the unfortunate patients/clients they need a note before hand and stop charging them you criminals. We have all of our $500+ worth of RMT left. We have not used any of it.The only truthful thing they said is this is a learning moment for anyone going. A medical note will most likely be required from a physician.Let me also confirm that I had requested on the phone prior to arrival whether they specifically do direct billing to Green Shield Canada upon booking a session and they said it was not a problem. They would take care of it.This was handled terribly and reflects the ethics of this company.

I had a wonderful massage from Alessandro. Found therapeutic streams on line and I'm very glad I booked an appointment. I'm fortunate to have extended benefits that cover massage and it was great to have my insurance company billed directly rather than have to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement. I've already booked my next appointment!

Merdy is a true practitioner. Not only sweet bubbly and good hearted, she really knows her craft. In one session, she started to resolve issues that have been haunting me for years. I’m excited to see her next week and continue to feel some relief for my bested up body.
