Paws In The Dirt Dog Training

We worked with Megan in the Reactivity R&R program she co-runs with Sweetgrass Dogs and Barking Tree Dog Training. This program gave us real-life skills that we could use on everyday walks and helped us to address the root causes of our dog's reactivity. The classes were very effective, helped to make training fun and took the well-being of all participant dogs into account. We appreciated working with 3 like-minded professionals and the dog to trainer ratio ensured everyone got one-on-one time. Megan was great with our dog and provided excellent tips throughout our sessions on ways for us to improve our handling. We can now navigate neighbourhood walks with ease and far less stress.

Our dog, Tenzin, loves Megan and adores her dog, Gypsea! Tenzin is a “pandemic puppy” who was very easily excitable due to not getting as much socialization during lockdowns, and also reactive after having unfortunate experiences of being attacked at dog parks. Megan has helped train Tenzin to come a long way with his obedience, social skills, and reactivity. We appreciate her love for dogs and highly recommend her positive reinforcement training methods. She is always our first choice for when we need to board Tenzin and we trust her to treat him like her own while we’re away. Thank you Megan for all your help! :)

Megan has done excellent training sessions and daytime daycare in her home for Emery, my 5 year old Havanese. Emery has improved with her greetings, and has learned new obedience commands from Megan. She is an awesome Burlington option if looking for any behavior improvements as she takes a positive approach to animal training. Highly recommend!
