I had a *very* similar experience as previous reviewers Brett Jackson and Pete Versaevel. i.e., I received the filters only after an unacceptably lengthy delay, many phone calls and emails, and dragging in VISA's disputed charges department. Here are the gory details...I ordered over $100 in filters 2 months ago. When I called to find out where my shipment was, I got some lame excuse that the order was in transit" (which turned out to be a lie ...read on)This led to a chain reaction of phone calls

Placed order in March for some filters. Approx $170 already paid via paypal. It's May and no filters. A few weeks ago they advised my filters would ship in a week and they would forward the shipping info. Asked a week after this for the shipping info - nothing. Not even a response. Asked again but I'm thinking I'll never see the filters or the money back. Avoid doing business with this sham of a company. From other reviews, the business owner may reply this is a phony review and gripe at Google about screening them. It is not. It's real. I wish I'd read the reviews before trying to do business with them. Don't complain owner - just send me the filters or refund my money.**Update: I was immediately contacted by the company upon posting this review and they had the filters delivered to me by the following Monday. As such, my sham of a company comment in the review turned out to not be true, thankfully. They are a company and can deliver on their commitments, however they do need a lot of work in the product delivery and communications aspects of their operation. As such, I've modified my rating from a 1 to a 2.

Five months later, no filters, no refund, no communicationAfter many years, this company’s orders continue to be plagued by supply chain issues, frustrating customer service and followup. They are listed in St. Catharines, but also have a Mississauga office (Clarkson Comfort Zone). Here is my experience:2022-04-07: Ordered case of 12 custom sized MERV 8 filters. Charged $293.79 on my credit card. At the time, the Filterscanada website said 8 to 10 weeks. There was no confirmation email, only a receipt from PayPal. The receipt did not have the company name (Filterscanada), nor a shipping date. The address listed was in New Brunswick.2022-06-27 (2.5 months): Called the 1-888 number asking about status. Was told that they are experiencing delays, try again in a week or so.2022-07-25 (3.5 months): Called again. This time, they said the status on my order had changed, and they would call me again in a week. I did not receive a call.2022-08-02 (4 months): Called to cancel my order. I said I am ordering from a supplier in the US. They apologized and said they are still experiencing delays, and would refund to my credit card.2022-08-09 (4 months): Called again, as I did not see the refund on my credit card. They said they would look into it.2022-08-11 (4 months): Received email indicating that their processing company cannot complete refund due to some error. They offered to send an e-transfer instead, and I provided them my email.2022-08-16 (4.5 months): Emailed to inquire about refund status. They said it was entered on Aug 12, and the transfer was scheduled on Aug 17.2022-08-18 (4.5 months): Still have not received email transfer.2022-08-18 (4.5 months): Initiated transaction dispute process with VISA, but it takes up to 10 weeks to resolve. I did learn that without a written shipping date, you can initiate a dispute after 15 days. And if the shipping date is missed, you can immediately file a dispute with VISA.

I wish I checked out this company on Homestars and the Better Business Bureau before purchasing from them.Almost 2 months ago I purchased filters and was told I would receive them the next week. I still haven't received anything and it is impossible to get anyone to speak to or to respond to an email. Calls go straight to voicemail and I never get a reply. Emails are never responded to. Customers would be less irate I'm sure if they told us there was a delay or something... anything. But to this point no product, no refund and no responses. Terrible business model - period.Edit* Georgina did what she could to rectify this problem urgently once this was escalated with the BBB. It should be noted this is not a problem with one individual. The whole model is poor when its impossible to get someone on the phone and there is no system to ensure the front to back process is completed. This is an issue that goes right to management/ownership and should not be entirely reflected on one individual that is potentially overworked.

Called up Filters Canada after getting nowhere with my original furnace provider and they had the part I needed on the shelf. Even though they didn't have enough filters on hand for the multi pack price, they still gave me the discounted rate for the 2 filters I bought. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, I will definitely call them in the future for my air filter needs. Thanks

Their store on Truscott Drive is now closed, with a number on a window to call and place order. We did, and were promised a 10% discount as a loyal customer. Two weeks later, we still haven't received the humidifier filter we ordered but the charges went through our Visa on Oct 7, with no discount. Two calls left on their voice mail were not returned. However, posting my review here on Oct 19 brought this matter to the Boss's attention and the matter was rectified quickly. We received the humidifier filter on Oct 22 and a credit on the 10% discount on Oct 23. Apparently, there was an error on the address label, causing the shipment to be held on the UPS depot. While we are now relieved that we finally received what we paid for, we think Filter Canada needs to work on returning messages promptly to improve customer service.

Very helpful people who were able to order the igniter I needed to quickly get the furnace going. Other suppliers were unwilling to sell the part because they wanted to make a service call instead. Filters Canada has techs too, but they understand that sometimes circumstances warrant a do-it-yourself approach. I appreciate that they have some respect for their customers and they will be the first ones I call when I do need professional help. Thank you Georgina and Kim, you're doing a great job.
