Mount Royal University

Taking my undergrad here and almost done. Great experience and nice campus!

Last night, I received extra customer care from the Security folks at MRU. The security guy inside the building called Sam and Sam (these are their real names) to come to the parking lot where my credit card was stuck inside one of the machines. They have genuine heart to help!! Thank you very much!!!! You are the best!!

I really like the MRU REC fitness facilities. Much nicer then Westside REC Centre. That's for sure. the customer service people are very friendly.

There is not a school that is more obsessed with your success, your personal identity and whatever you want to accomplish.

In July 2015, the $90.5 million Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts (TCPA) was officially opened, accommodating the growing Mount Royal Conservatory, which is a musical conservatoire in operation since 1910 that serves up to 10,000 Calgarians annually. In addition to 43 soundproof rehearsal studios and 6 ensemble suites, the TCPA also houses the 787-seat Bella Concert Hall (opened August 26, 2015), which was designed by Pfeiffer Partners Architects in cooperation with Sahuri + Partners who used a contemporary interpretation of the rural barn on the expansive prairie of Alberta" in their design. The Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts is named after the family name of businessman

They are racist. They smile infront ofyou but at their decisions they treat you with discrimination.Especially, the English program They are sooo racist and I had the most bad experience with them. I updated my comments because I discovered that the teachers wrote on me a report full of lies and when I asked for a meeting to discuss my report first they ignore my email then by repeating the request for a meeting they simply refused.

The Bella Concert hall was a very pleasant venue for an intimate concert. The outer hall is a good size and has a small concession which serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Coat check is also available. Parking was adequate for the event however the walk to my car on a cold night was a bit long. Be prepared for this. The parking rate seemed reasonable and coat check was by donation ( cash only)

Beautiful amphitheater for events. Attended Foothills Creamery national ice cream event. Great location tons of parking.

MRU is not a school a suggest for international student go to UFC instead or other serious university. I applied in business and i got accept but because of my study permit delayed i did not attend fall semester but what they did was to take my money and retake the admission as if they don't think about it before they give the offer. when i was ready to resume my studies the next semester they said that i can only register in art program which no student want because is so bad there. if you don't want headache go to other universities that are serious and not money grab.
