Staff were incredibly kind and friendly - as a younger/beginner knitter, I’ve been met with lukewarm or negative welcomes to many knitting shops. This was not the case at Needle Emporium! They were very friendly and made me feel welcomed and comfortable asking questions.Store had plenty of stock with a variety of colours and weights; many unique brands I haven’t seen elsewhere.Highly recommend Needle Emporium for all your knitting needs!

Incredibly well-stocked yarn shop in a charming location. Julie is very helpful and friendly, and the store is full of her beautiful knits that showcase the yarns she stocks. Great website too. My first of many visits!

Over the last few years I have been here about 6 times. Lovely yarn definitely. But 3 times now, the proprietor has spoken to me in an abrupt and rude way. Not friendly at all. So I will not be returning. And will take my $200 plus per month yarn addiction elsewhere.

Pleasant yarn shop with incredible kind and helpful staff. Stocked with loads of sample knits, modern yarn companies - both commercial and a few indie dyers. This store is a true LYS. Excellent spot to poke around and gather inspiration. Yarn, notions and accessories galore!! What truly makes this spot special is how friendly the staff are. Thanks for a great experience!Parking is ample in back and building is accessible - although some areas might be a tight squeeze.

I loved actually being able to go in to the store - I don't care that a mask was required. Julie was so helpful and being able to touch the wool before buying was such a thrill.

Loved the selection - a whole lotta yarnie goodness packed into one building. You WILL not be able to resist. Wonderful selection of indie dyers! Service was excellent - they helped me pick out yarn for a couple of patterns. Will definitely visit again.

This is a beautiful shop with an amazing selection of wool and accessories. The staff is very helpful - perhaps too helpful. I've been here a few times and every time I'm there, the girls are hovering over me, not allowing me to take in their amazing selection, constantly interrupting me as I attempt to make my own decisions. In fact, they hover so much, it's a turnoff and quite honestly, I have no desire to return. If they're worried about theft, perhaps cameras should be installed and used to their fullest.

Ive been at this store a few times ...it just seems to be a hoarder shop and still after 3 years and having to wear a mask ...yarn is just thrown anywhere and felt like a thief with staff on my back ...itsnot a very clean shop but lots of yarn chouce

The salesperson was rude and condisending. I don't understand why someone works in a shop that requires customer service and makes the customer feel that you are an inconvenience to their day. Great selection of yarn but I will never go back to be treated that way.Such a shame

I’m so lucky, this is absolutely one of the very best in North America IMHO and its my local. You’d be hard pressed to find another YS with a wider selection. Staff are highly passionate for fibre, broadly experienced and eager to please. Exploring here never fails to reveal something irresistible.
