Potenza's Restaurant and Bar
Laid back, rocking family restaurant. Pizza was fantastic except for the fact that the crust got soggy, the crust is all the way cooked through so not sure how this happens. The band Soul Seed was great (mix of classic rock). The staff is beautiful and hard working however you can tell there is a lack of systems for them. We would wait a really long time for drinks.

We called in for a pickup, of the Pitenza special, in early August. Maybe because it was busy??? Went to pick up - the girl at the till told me someone else would help and walked away. I waited another 7 minutes before I was asked if someone was helping me... Got the pizza - when we went to eat the pizza was so overloaded with mushrooms, it eas like they dumped an entire large can of them in the middle and half heartedly attempted to spread them out. The crust was so soggy it was gross. We ate maybe a quarter of the pizza that evening. We tried to eat the leftovers the next day but... it ended up in the garbage - way too soggy crust, way to many mushrooms... NOT a good experience. Way too expensive for horrible pizza!! Have not gone back. Can't say I would recommend.

Seemed like a nice place. Perhaps it was just a busy night but the food took an hour for just a pizza which had so much cheese on it no one wanted to eat it. Pretty chaotic with not much organisation. Once the band started no one could have a conversation due to the loudness.

The service was very SLOW and seemed to be selective of the tables that received prompt service. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was not great. Noodles were hard an crisp the sauce wasn’t even creamy and the chicken was frozen from the box. Chicken Parmesan was soggy and salty but the water was good!

Atmosphere was great, we dined in. Music entainment was exceptional. Service was very slow. Took 1 1/2 hour for food. The lasgna was ok, did taste a bit like ragu sauce with some added onions. Garlic toast was not worth mentioning, and the fettuccini alferdo was average. None of the food was hot. Drinks were watered down. Pricing was ok. Will go back to try the pizza. That looked really good

This place is pathetic. My family went for supper today and it was horrible, service is the worst I’ve seen at any restaurant. There was one large table before us. We waited 90 mins for food to come out. My wife’s came out (spaghetti) then my sons pizza 15 mins later. Mine never came. After 2+ hrs the waitress finally said they gave mine to another table and would remake as soon as they could. After this long, our 6 yr old had enough, as did I. They did not even offer a discount or anything for the inconvenience of not ever providing me my order. I cannot believe a business is run this way, and still open. Will never visit this hole again. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

Been playing at Potenza's every year with my band since 2014. Great crowd, amazing staff, awesome food, and an all around great time! If you haven't been to Potenza's, you're missing out!

The pizza and drinks were the only good things about this restaurant.The bathrooms were disgusting!Almost everything I wanted to order from the menu wasn’t available.One of the servers with black hair and piercings was drinking and smoking and threw an ashtray at a “spider” then argued with her coworkers as to who should pick it up.The other two servers were very nice.Also one of the cooks were completely hammered.I went may 27 2022. I tried to leave a review on Facebook. But they didn’t post it.

Have grown up going to Grand Beach my entire life and Potenzzas has always been around! Know better way to spend weekend night then listining to some live music and stuffing your face with pizza.

Potenza's Restaurant and Bar
I placed an order for takeout on Friday and it was to die for. The pizza was hot and delicious. The girl on the phone was nice, helpful, and professional. I came in to pick it up and the price was well worth the amazing pizza I had. I came back on sunday to dine in for the first time. I had the most amazing experience. The service was fast and efficient even though there was only one girl working. She told us about the bands on the weekend and we will definitely be back to check it out!
