We watched a band play outside in the park there were lots of places to sit on benches or bring your own chair. We say the band called Gunn. Amazing

Nice venue for our annual Christmas event.The kitchen, and halls are perfect

Don’t rent for a special occasion. We rented out a room and the outside pavilion for our wedding ceremony / reception. The initial conversation and tour was wonderful. Staff seemed friendly and open, we were very thorough about what our expectations were and what we needed, all of which was agreed to.Flash forward to the day before our wedding (the rehearsal) and we found that there was construction going on; scaffolding everywhere, doors and areas blocked off that we were promised use of. We were not notified of the construction at anytime - initially talking to them, booking the area, or anytime between July - September (yet they had no taking our money). I went inside the building with my father to see how we would walk down the aisle: the gentleman working that evening was extremely rude and told us to leave. When I explained why we were there, he said it wasn’t his problem and followed us around the hall until we left.The day of the wedding was even more of a nightmare. They would not allow us to set up anything before our rented time, ok that’s fine, we got it done. When I (the bride) arrived in my dress, I was told to walk through my guests, and future husband to get inside the building because they didn’t want to open the side doors for the wedding party - we had to have a freak out to have anything done. The room we rented was filthy, and obviously not cleaned after the last people used it. After the ceremony staff were very pushy about putting all the chair inside - my husband and I barely got done walking back down the aisle and staff was on top of us. There were random people and kids running around just walking into the room we rented, picking and playing with our decor and belongings ect.Had we had known that this would have been pulled, we absolutely would not have paid the price we did to rent it or might not have rented it at all. At the end of the day I’m married and that’s what mattered but this experience with Edgemont was horrible. I would hate for another bride to have to go through this.

Great place. Admin staff were great when we had to rent a conderence room from them. Scenary is awesome!! Programs on the website arent as dependable as many of the hosts of those programs dont respond to email or phone. Eg - I ha e sent emails to thier yoga, toastmasters, dance instructors but have never heard back from them. Hence 3 stars. If I got didferent experience in the past, I will update my comments.

It's a nice well maintained community hall with a good balance of facilities, location and natural light

Went for a Celebration of Life of a family member. The location is lovely, the room offered a magnificent view. It was a nice room, my only comment would be that while this was a sombre event, there were children's events happening in close proximity so that was happening. I guess that's the circle of life tho, right? Nice facility, clean washrooms, decent parking.

Awesome place in the community. Don't miss out on the monthly food trucks and the weekly farm stands at the community centre!

Went for annual spring sale. Included an author of local flying history books..
