The research I did to find the best stair lift provider, led me to Stannah. After receiving visits and quotes from 2 other companies, I knew Stannah was going to be an great company to put the trust into providing a stair lift in my parents home. The Customer Service and Installation teams were fantastic to deal with. This company takes what they do very seriously. The lead time to order is 6 weeks, so that is something to be aware of. The only comment would be they could have stayed in touch and keep me aware of the timing. I did call during week 5 to see how much longer and I was happy to have received a call that it was ready to install.The installation took about 4.5 hours for a curved lift. Again, outstanding service. My mother is happily able to use the stair lift, very comfortable and easy to use.Thanks to the team at Stannah. I'm a happy customer.

terrible company phone line not working service department not returning calls

My stairlift broke down on Christmas day, it is blocking my only way to access the rear part of the home. I have abt 2 ft to squeeze by to access the stairs and rear part of the house. NO service available or tech call to help. This morning I called again and was told not to expect any service until the new year and the lady was unable to schedule a call and I was told not to expect one either. This is unacceptable, these lifts are sold to people with mobility issues but if your lift breaks down you are left without a service appointment or repair. Unacceptable.

After a few miss communications the installers were excellent. They listened to me and by the time they left I know exactly what I was doing. Thank-you for having excellent staff. I wish I had put the stairlift in years ago. Thank-you again Stannah Canada.
