Standard Auto Wreckers Port Hope

Horrible service. I bought a door (which wasn’t cheap at all). The website showed a picture of perfect door. However, the door was damaged and wasn’t lining up. I have returned the door and I bought another one from them. It’s been over a months and i have not received my money back. They said the cheque will be mailed in couple of days when I returned the door. It’s been exactly 5 weeks already. They were so rude and unhappy when i was returning the door. The car was in the shop much longer than it needed to be and i drove to port hope 2 times because they sold me a damaged door. They didn’t even apologize. When you call them, no-one knows anything. They say the cheque will be mailed soon every time i call them, but again, it’s been 5 weeks. Unpleasant experience. Do not recommend to have any business with them.

Excellent experience with Standard Auto Wreckers , specifically with Marco. All my questions and concerns were answered promptly, professionally and thoroughly. Marco spent extra time after hours rushing an order for so it could be delivered the next day; this was extremely important as the vehicle needed to be repaired by Friday night. The transmission was delivered by the afternoon of the next day, the Service Centre began work immediately. With the assistance of Marco from Standard Auto and the team from Kia Clarington the car was finished by Friday night; we picked up the car Saturday morning. I am very impressed, we will absolutely refer family and friends, plus I am so very thankful of the service received during a very stressful situation!

It is what it is. Staff very friendly. Couple of times the parts were not quite as described.Update..... I truly appreciate the response....please note they keep what they can off a wreck and knowing automotive with 25+ years experience they do the best they can

We found Gail and Louis very helpful and professional. It was very emotional for me to see my 2009 Nissan being taken away (unfortunately the tansmission went with almost 300,000 kms on it) - it almost felt like a death! Louis was so patient and understood as he said the car was in really good shape - she did serve us well. Thank you Louis for your kindness and thoughtfulness as I waved good bye to you both!

Bought a part online, was told it would ship that day. Just needed phone # for shipping purposes. Has been 3 days. No feedback as to whether part was shipped. No answer to my enquiries as to whether part has shipped. Was happy to find the part but not on customer support.

Gail who booked my order was very understanding and knowledgeable.Allan the driver, was professional and kind and met me at the exact location and time that was promised.I highly recommend these people and will be recommending them for years to come.

Jeff is AMAZING! He helped me tremendously. He gave me all the CORRECT Information and was there to greet me on Monday morning. He even remembered my exact part. I was really happy with the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! And very friendly.

Great experince - Ramm helped me get the right transmission for my Subaru. I was just a guy off the street looking to keep a car on the road. They found the correct transmission. The part was delivered to my mechanic - in good shape - good price. Thanks!!
