What kind of modern building doesn’t have hot water? I’ve been in a couple different units and the water is constantly lukewarm no matter how long you run it.Elevators are super sketchy. Will not run at times nor take you to the floor you pressed on. Heard from another tenant they got trapped one time when the elevator doors wouldn’t open at all and were stuck for like 20 mins until help came.Constant construction in the building and yet terrace/gym are nowhere close to being finished yet, even though they have no problem still advertising them.This building seems like it needs at least another 6+ months until it’s properly livable.

Having a great experience living here with super amiable staff ready to tackle all your worries. I always come late at night and everyday see the floors getting cleaned and carpets vacuumed. Location is extremely nice and everything feel like a few steps away. Nice with the amenities too.

The building seems to turn the AC off at a certain point in the evening so your unit becomes a sauna at night. You can lower the thermostat as much as you want and the AC" sounds like it's running

It’s one of the best building to reside in currently. The view is amazing and also the amenities are wonderful. The issues mentioned are backdated now everything is perfect.

Elevator situation is a nightmare. One elevator for 25 floors for residents. This elevator (clearly marked as resident use only), is also being used by construction workers (though they have 2 elevators for their use). As a result, people are crammed in the one elevator. I’m surprised that the developer would assume the legal liability should Covid breakout in the building.

Charlie West condos is amazing with its great location, friendly staff, and service from concierge. Awesome restaurant on ground floor - 271 West not to mention a cute European Delicatessen Store - Tasty Deli next to it. Comments about elevators are outdated from occupancy, no issues with elevators here.

Great view on the 25th floor but good luck getting there with only one elevator in resident service, have to leave for work ten minutes early just to catch the train across the street. Restaurant says it will be open this month (January), no way that could be possible.Door to the balcony doesn’t lock, leaks heat, whistles and rattles in the wind like a hundred year old farm house.Concierge and Maintenance are top notch folks but are obviously at the mercy of subpar contractors.

Even though the condo is in a prime location and has a beautiful view, The elevators makes the life nightmare. Out of 3 elevators only one elevator is for tenant's use and other two are for construction and moving our stuffs. On top of this, now a days elevator doors are getting stuck very often. If you are outside the elevator you are lucky otherwise if you got yourself locked inside then you have to wait until the door opens. It could be 5,10 or 30 minutes too.

Very nice & modern building. Super clean on each floor. The maintenance person is very friendly and always supportive when I have questions. Very close to amenities around downtown (walking distance). Excited for the businesses opening up below!

The elevators rarely work, I got stuck in one with my dog for 20 minutes. The water does not stay hot/warm while showering. The construction worker also always use the elevator for tenants when they have their own designated elevator. There’s constant loud construction and drilling. We were told that all the amenities would be finished between Jan-march but nothing has even been started; the walls in the hallway aren’t even painted and there’s plastic wrap everywhere. It feels as though it’s going to take another 6-8 months for things in the building to be complete even though there are so many people already living here. We’ve also had someone from the building here twice because the thermostat doesn’t hold heat and we constantly wake up to it 55 degrees in the middle of the night.
