For my first time there it was a great experience. Great staff who attend to you right away, they brought water with out even asking, then brought a jug of water for the table to replenish our cup. Food was delicious too.

I debated between a 4 and a 5.The food tasted great. We did the platter for 2 ($32). It felt like it could feed 3 light eaters.Most Ethiopian restaurants don't have beets so that's a bit more unique here.The flavors are all great with distinctive differences.Service was very attentive with constant refills of water.The music was a bit loud later in the evening, but it is kind of advertised as a lounge/sports bar so that's too be expected.There are also a decent number of hookah smokers (at least when we went).The setting isn't my favorite. I personally didn't feel very comfortable, which I felt had to do with the layout. The seats were comfortable enough. As that was my main complaint I didn't think it was enough to do a 4 star.There is a place in the city where I feel they do very good Ethiopian food and for much cheaper but I'm not sure if it is equal to Ibex. One day I'll need to do a better comparison.

So the place has decent Ethiopian food, music, dance floor and a shisha lounge. The food quality is good, the staff and owner are super nice. Really enjoyed my visit here. Yhe Lamb Chacha is great, would totally recomend it.

This restaurant just reopened after being shut due to the pandemic. It was nice being the first customer. Really enjoyed the spices of Ethiopian food. It wasn’t an overwhelming taste but multilayered with complexity and depth.

Awesome place to smoke shisha! Came in the afternoon so it was nice and quiet. The shisha is flavourful and freshly made head. Love it !
