Have been here a few times as we love their Xiao Long Bao and noodles. Very authentic Shanghai taste that recalled my mum's home cooking in my childhood.

Home style shanghai restaurant with good price. Xiao Lun Bao is very good but Hot and Sour Soup has put too much vinegar. Overall good food

Great place for crab and sticky rice cakes. This place is a small gem that serves some good shanghainese food. Good xlb too. Prices are very reasonable. I ate everything before I could take some photos. I'll take them next time I come back.

Delicious and quick, it’s owned by a couple, all dishes were well cooked and great portion. Welcoming service as well, hygiene and management can be improved better! Would suggest you go outside peak hour or order take out. Definitely will come back again. And this is exactly the type of restaurant that make you feel home.

Authentic Shanghainese fare, this family owned and run restaurant gives you home style cooking Shanghainese style!Love their steamed dumplings so juicy and flavourful! Other great times including soup noodles and their Seafood Hot & Sour Soup! Street parking available outside of the restaurant!

Delicious! My mom found this place when we were looking for a place to eat for lunch. I was very surprised by this family owned restaurant how amazing the food tasted.The Steamed Pork Soup and Vegetable Dumplings were very juicy and fresh! I was very surprised by how juicy and delicious the Vegetable Dumplings tasted - I would have ordered another if I wasn't full!The Shanghai Style Noodles are always a favourite and was a big thumbs up for my sister. The only thing we wished more of was cabbage and meat.I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Shanghai food!

Food was good enough yesterday.Their stir fried rice cake was nothing special but good enough if you're craving them. A little lacking in the pork and cabbage and hot wok flavouring.Their chive pockets were good but could be a little more filled.Their pan fried Shanghai pork buns were great. Good size filling and filled with some soup like Xiao Long Bao. Maybe not supposed to be this way, but I like it.Their green onion/chive pancakes, don't bother trying them. Waste of your money if you expecting any kind of pancake. They make it bun style so mostly bread. Very little chives/green onions.Service was very goid. As they came many times to refill tea instead of standing around like lots of places.Parking is a couple of spots in the rear and neighbourhood street parking.I didn't like too many of this meal's dishes, but I've had others worth coming back for. Just not necessarily 3 of today's 4 dishes. Service good each time so giving 4 stars and hoping they can improve on those dishes.

Food was ok here but most dishes were lacking a bit in terms of sauce/flavour.Beef roll had a nice flaky exterior and a soft pillowy/chewy inside but needed more sauce. Similarly, the rice cakes with shredded pork and picked veggies could have used a more flavorful sauce (although the rice cakes themselves were good).The steamed pork soup dumplings had a relatively thin skin with juicy soup inside. And then wontons in chili sauce, while not particularly spicy, had a velvety wrapper. We wound up using some of this chili sauce to flavour our rice cakes.Marinated cucumbers took forever to come out. We were ready to leave and had to ask them about it. Not much flavour to them (guessing not marinated long enough).It's clear they need more than one server because service was lacking and felt unattentive.
