I had a wonderful time here and very happy with the results! My stylist, Lea, did an amazing job! She told me what she was doing throughout the process, provided suggestions and made sure I was okay with it before doing it. She was very kind over messages before my appointment and was honest with the process. I wasn’t sure of what to expect at the start of the appointment and a little nervous but I was extremely happy with the end result and received a lot of compliments on it too.

I just had a chocolate brown balayage done by Lea and I absolutely love it!!! I was a little nervous because I have dark hair and have never changed the color before. Lea understood exactly what I wanted and my hair turned out better than I could have imagined! Highly recommend this salon!And thanks again Lea! :)

Love Lynn and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else! I used to always have bad experiences getting my hair cut and coloured but since I was referred to I'm always happy and want to show off my hair right away. Amazing balayage from her and she knows how to cut my bangs just right! Highly highly recommend :)

I have ALOT of dark and thick hair so finding someone who knows their way around a blonde balayage is very tough. Especially when going for an ashy tone.I had my appointment with Lea today and I was SO HAPPY! She gave me all of her attention and really put a lot of care into each step of the process. Sometimes the energy in a salon can be a little chaotic but it was super chill and relaxing. I’ve been to many of the “trendier” spots in Burlington with lots of hyped marketing but the quality of service has never impressed me enough to go back.Lea you’re stuck with me!!!!!!

I can't rave enough about this salon!! Lynn's talent is amazing. She goes above and beyond to make my hair so beautiful. She takes the time to listen and always walks me through the process to make sure my hair goals are reached! Thank you so much!!

This place is AMAZING! I’m beyond happy I found La Viva and Lea there. Lea is so meticulous and detailed with her work. She is so patient and really takes the time to do it right. I have crazy thick and long hair and almost never leave a salon happy with the blow-out and final product … but here is totally different. Im always so happy with the results. And the salon is stunning and super clean and tidy!!

Lea is an absolute hair genius! So friendly, talented and patient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great salon to go to.

Overall disappointing experience. I had a bad experience with this salon in the past and against my better judgment decided to give them another chance. The first bad experience was due to the owner Lynn whom I had booked with passing me off on another stylist. The stylist I got I later found out was a junior stylist and she completed ruined my hair. I emailed Lynn with pictures as well as discussed my dismay with her passing me off even though I booked with her. She did apologize and refund my money. So this second time I had a stylist who was very nice but I ending up leaving with hair that didn’t look any different. I showed her pictures of platinum bobs and expressed how I wanted my worn out blonde bright and icy. She did very fine baby lights and then toned with a toner which made it look dull. When I went I pay I was taken back by the price. I only had partial highlights and no cut on chin length hair and it was $384. When I got home I double checked and it seemed I was overcharged. I ended up messaging the stylist and expressed I was unhappy with the hair as it looked no different for over $400 with tip. I asked for a breakdown of the cost as I was sure I was overcharged. Sure enough she messaged me back saying she charged me for a cut even though I never had one. I asked if I could have a partial refund for the highlights as it looked no different from before. I was willing to pay for her time and the product which I believe was more than fair. She said she had to talk to the owner Lynn. She got back to me and said they would only refund the charge for the haircut as I never got one. I work retail and this was literally 2 weeks worth of work for me. I am very hurt that Lynn didn’t give me even a partial refund. The fact I was overcharged too just added salt to the wound. Needless to say I will never be back but I strongly advise you get a receipt for any service you receive , had I not questioned her about the high amount I would have never known I was overcharged $79

Love this place and ABSOLUTELY LOVE Lynn’s work!! Salon is extremely clean and beautiful inside, staff are welcoming and super friendly. I came for a colour correction for my existing balayage, and Lynn did exactly what I was looking for. What I love most is her impeccable ability to blend and evenly distribute colour. I found my hair colour was really choppy and the roots didn’t blend nicely prior to going to Lynn, but she absolutely killed it and I think the photos speak for her work itself! Will definitely be returning to La Viva!! Thank you so much xoxo
