I worked for 1Northwestern at Winners in North Bay, a year or so ago. I had a family emergency to deal with (my mom was in the hospital and passed away a week ago). When I told this to my, then supervisor, (out of Thunderbay)she was understanding but when I called to get back on the schedule my position had been given away. I was shocked as I the client was very happy with my work ethic. I was even told by the supervisor that if a branch opened up in the North Bay region my name would be given to the owner, due to my many years of experience. All in all it was a good company just very poorly managed by, whom I understood to be my supervisor. No compassion and obvious lies about possible advancement from within.
