Horrible experience. The four of us went for dinner. Three of us got our very mediocre food one by one at 20 min intervals. My wife never got hers. The owner got extremely defensive but brought out her lukewarm pasta a minute later muttering that he didn't understand why it wasn't brought out earlier. My wife found it too cold to eat and requested that it be warmed up. Instead, the guy picked up her plate and poked at it with his hand and said that 'it was fine'. He then proceeded to take it away and said he was going to take it off the tab. Meanwhile, it was my wife who was the the hungriest of us all. Needless to say, we paid our bill and left without my wife having had anything to eat. Absolutely shocking behavior. Another couple seated beside us just got up and fled after witnessing this terrible turn of events. Look at the Google and other sites before you venture into this restaurant. You will see a consistent pattern of complaints. Enter at your own risk...

L'Omelette was exactly the place we were looking for in Quebec City. A French cafe with all of the charm you would expect to find. The food and service was exceptional at a very affordable price. Unless you are looking for a five course meal, dine here. You will not be disappointed.

Mediocre food at exorbitant prices. No kids menu. The pea soup was delicious. Grilled cheese and pizza was meh.

Our first meal in Quebec City and we weren’t disappointed. Wonderful breakfast menu. I had the quiche Lorraine and my wife had a strawberry and banana crepe. The $10 for 2 mimosas special was an added bonus.The supper menu looks wonderful. I wish we had more time in Quebec City!

I came here for brunch, they had a 2 mimosas for $10 promotion so I had to stop. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are awesome. I had the classic breakfast with eggs sausage and toast which was delicious. I enjoyed my breakfast here and would definitely go back.

Food is delicious but kitchen is sloooww. Dont expect a quick meal but sit by the window, enjoy some wine, and people watch.

Layout is a bit cramped and prices are a bit high, but the staff made up for it by being very friendly and attentive. Service was fast and efficient, and the food came hot and very tasty. Overall a very pleasant breakfast experience in one of the most culturally rich areas in North America.
