Law Office of Caryma Sa'd

Caryma is a fairly new lawyer and is, in my opinion, making quite a name for herself having been quoted in articles and in the media spotlight on some of her matters before the landlord tenant board. I received her name through a mutual connection and after meeting with her I was quite impressed with the impression I left with - a feeling that she actually cared. The price was on point and she was very reasonable with respect to payment. Most matters requiring one to hire a lawyer are not pleasant but throughout the difficult process Caryma was supportive and available. At the actual hearings she proved to be knowledgeable, articulate, thoughtful and an excellent advocate. I decided I was going to write this review win, lose or draw but based on everything I wrote herein it may not surprise you to know that I was successful. I would definitely use Caryma again should the need arise. Just hoping the need never arises again.

Knowledgeable, calm and caring. You may not agree with every opinion she has, but some of the crazy reviews listed here are pure non-sense. She will do her best to fully answer any questions you may have, and will be unbiased in her interaction with you.

Very pleased with the level of legal efficacy and knowledge of Caryma and her firm. She is attentive, thorough and very understanding. I would highly recommend.

Do not recommend. She harasses others online as well as getting her friends to harass charitable people, and those who help the homeless.

I cannot advocate for Caryma Sa'd, her services or support any claims that she is running a professional or ethical business. In my experienced opinion, she is simply an Instagram/Twitter-esque lawyer, more interested in press and social opportunities rather than providing sound legal advice to her clients.My landlord hired Caryma to help illegally evict me from my unit and instead of providing them with level headed, reasonable and ethical legal advice, she instead took their money and banking on the assumption that I did not know my way around the RTA or Canadian Common Law, made feeble attempts at intimidating me out of my unit; posting me illegitimate notices of eviction that did not come from the Landlord Tenant Board (one would reasonably expect that as a lawyer she would have known that notices of eviction must and can only be issued by the LTB) and knowing I was a foreigner, attempted to threaten me with “risks to my immigration status”.I cannot say whether or not my landlord was advised directly by Caryma to pursue the actions they took, however I ended up being locked out of the unit, prompting an expedited hearing at the LTB. Surely a decent Lawyer would have told their client that under no circumstance should they violate the law. However Caryma and her business in my opinion and I can assume the opinion of the board (In the final hearing order [TST-07369-19] on our matter she was mentioned by name as being involved in malpractice) are not decent.At the hearing her team, likely knowing how weak of a case they had, tried to argue all sorts of falsehoods which were easily picked apart by the Board. Myself being self represented and a foreigner, won several times against Caryma and her team, which if anything should tell you that she can’t be that great of a lawyer if she cannot win against someone who is not professionally trained or even from the country.Although my opposition was the party that hired Caryma’s services, coming from a family of lawyers I was and still am shocked by the lack of professionalism and ethics employed by Caryma and her team. I believe that she has let herself and her practice down with her actions and for someone who is supposedly for the “tenant’s rights”, I was shocked when she described a tenant such as myself as “Troublesome” for simply fighting for and defending my rights in an illegal eviction. She is remarkably hungry for a cheque and simply in this game to take money from her clients and offer shoddy services in return.If you are in a legal bind, I suggest finding proper and ethical professional help who will offer you sound legal advice that will not leave you financially exposed as my landlords ended up being. Caryma’s advice/service to my landlords ended up costing them severely financially as they were trying to fight a case they had no hope in winning. Caryma got paid though...

She passed me off, didn't verify information and left myself and daughters in a potentially dangerous situation. Thankfully I found someone who could and did actually help me, just sad and frustrated I wasted time and money on her.

Caryma Sa'd is a phenomenal lawyer who TRULY cares for her clients. She has a great heart and works tirelessly everyday. She is the most affordable lawyer I ever came across and the quality of work she does was beyond my expectation! My comment is merely words, you can see from all her cases that gained media attention the countless of people she has helped! Just google her name. Her hard work speaks for itself.

My experience with Caryma S'ad was PHENOMENAL.This office went above and beyond to help me with a despicable landlord who had demolished most of my building without permits, harassed and subtly threatened me, who continually refused to take care of critical maintenance issues - and who was also attempting to evict me.When I first contacted the office and was put through to Caryma herself, I didn't know what I should do about my situation. She advised me on what procedure we should go through and we began immediately. I was seriously impressed with her dedication and humanity.Because I am a mature student at U of T, I couldn't afford insane lawyer fees. Her fees were completely reasonable! She was thorough, nonjudgmental and sincerely understanding with my situation. I recommend her to anyone who needs a highly professional and compassionate lawyer representing them.My landlord lost in court.She quickly shut him down.This is a fantastic law office.

Extraordinarily unprofessional. Tried threatening SLAPP suit for criticism that she admitted last week is actually true. Takes on clients that she feels can help her carry out vendettas against others. Imagine Jimmy McGill but comically incompetent.
