Richmond Road Registry

I went in for my Class 6 (Motorcycle) road test. It’s been a long time since I last did a road test of any kind and I was actually a bit nervous. Rick was an excellent examiner, and from the onset there was never any feeling that he was “out to get” me. Very constructive feedback and he put me at ease from the beginning. Despite the busy location of this registry, the test route was not something to be concerned about, and it was a good experience. Would recommend.

I just completed my Class 5 Road Test and my examiner Rick was excellent. After the test he kindly explained to me what I did wrong and how to fix those mistakes, he was not condescending or scolding at all, I could tell he genuinely wanted to help me learn. He fielded all my questions and was all around a great examiner! The front desk service was also great.

it seems like they enjoy to make their customers unhappy, lady with grey hair has awful customer service and she does not seem like she cares if a customer gets upset or not. No apologies, nothing, not even a have a great day afterwards. If I could put 0 stars I would, this is not the first time this has happened to me either. Do not come here.

As always outstandingly rude. Old lady short grey hair tattoos covering the arms. If you are going to push me to pay debt over CC because of a fee at least say there is a fee. Maybe a smile wouldn't hurt her poor poor customer service skill. This is a private business that os profitable. We shouldn't be paying fees to pay. I don't pay at the grocery store. #1 Worst registry. Remember its private go somewhere else to give your money.

I applied for a license, and it never showed up in the mail. So I tried getting ahold of them in-between those times and it was all a goose chase. I finally go in again and they tell me I have to pay again because of the time frame that passed that I never received my license. on top of it all the lady with black hair was ignorant. I'd rate a 0 stars if I could. They don't inform you of anything until it's too late don't come here.

I completed my class 6 licence through Richmond registry. Rick was my examiner, he was totally fair and such an awesome guy! Thank you for everything! Rick deserves 10 starsThat being said the people that work the front desks are also very rude and almost annoyed that you are even inside the registry.Trust me I'd love to do everything I need to with my licenses and vehicles online and I'm sure with less fees. But the business is still offering to pay you money to that job for the general public. So put a smile on and change your tones before one day you are all out of a job because you are ineffecient. You aren't even worth half a star.

DON’T GO HERE FOR A ROAD TEST! The road test is a joke, the instructor made up rules to fail me, he deducted points arbitrarily and his only explanation would be “it’s in the book” and it isn’t, I checked afterwards. It seemed he has a quota of people to fail! Some of the ridiculous reasons why he failed me were:1) took both hands off the wheel to fix my glasses, while the car was stopped at a traffic light!2) turned right while on red and after checking for people crossing the street and incoming cars3) for parallel parking I used the back camera instead of using the side mirrors4) went 32 on a school zone and he wrote I was going 42 (I was super careful about this)

Those ladies need to be replaced ASAP!!!! The worst customer service ever, they feel their time is more valuable than yours after you watched them fiddle around with papers and after you have waited for your turn. If it takes you 15 minutes to look up a driver license in your system, then your skills need major upgrading. Dont say it is a waste of your time, you were hired to do those kind of tasks regardless of how tedious you deem them to be, is in your job description and your time is paid for!!!! To top it up, they have the audacity to have posters with words like We do not tolerate any verbal abuse" but you have to put up with their rudeness and incompetency. What a joke... This registry is the epitome of rudeness!!!!"

The worst registry I’ve ever been. The old lady was outstanding rude. I was in the middle of some service. My 4 year old son couldn’t hold his pee. He was crying and peed a little on his pants. I beg the staff to let me use their washroom. The front lady was kind. She tried her best to communicate with an old lady( I believe she was the manager). The old lady looked at us and said: no, you can go to the store to use washroom. My son pee on his pants eventually. Every body was looking at my son. He was embarrassed and feeling so hurt. This old lady didn’t show any sympathy to a little boy and traumatized him. Shouldn’t registry be a place that help all the Albertans? I didn’t feel any caring at all.

I attended this registry today for what I thought would be a simple update to my vehicle registration. The person who helped" me did nothing but bring up problem after problem
