Dr. Waqar Nabi

Great in person service and very good doctors but very difficult to reach anyone on the phone to ask a question or prescription advice.

Are you looking for a doctor that has zero respect for your time? Well Dr Waqar Nabi is the doctor for you! I have had 2 telephone appointments with this doctor in the last few months. The first call I waited 2.5 hours passed my appointment time. I was pretty annoyed, when he called that he did not even acknowledge how late he was with even a half hearted apology, but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt as I do realize that doctors can have very busy schedules. Oh how wrong I was! The 2nd appointment I had was even worse! My appointment was for 12:05pm, and I did not here from him until 3:20pm. At this point I had enough with his lack of respect for my time and called him out on his terrible lack of respect for patient time and unprofessionalism. His response was essentially if the matter is so important you why did you not go to the emergency room? Simply put

This clinic is so futuristic, I come here just for the experience! When you arrive, you register yourself at the self-serve console by swiping your health card. Nurses do preliminary check ups using state of art diagnostics tools. They have IR thermometers that they simply tap your head with and get readings. There is a great selection of medical doctors waiting to see you. Doctors give you time and attention and answer all your concerns, and always prescribe tests where needed. Medicines are prescribed only where needed and as a last resort. This clinic is a great place - I would come back here again.

Every time I come here I feel so much better and Dr Nabi is wonderful person. Thank you

Great Doctor, he's been our family physician for more than a decade.

Waqar Nabi is not even worth calling a Dr. It's such a noble profession and Doctors are considered as next to God. Waqar Nabi needs to become a good human being before anything else, Aweful experience by staff and later Waqar Nabi himself, I called and booked time to see this doctor as walkin patient, Reached on time, they took my health card and made me wait for 20 mins thinking the receptionist is doing the job, only to realise after 20 mins another person at reception asking me if I left my card there... seriously ? I said I haven't left the card I have handed it over to another lady there, as soon as she started asking me details for my number and address, Waqar Nabi walks there while he had seen me waiting before and I had overheard he telling his staff I was the last patient for the day and no more after me, and after 20 minutes of wait he profusely refused his staff that he is not going to see any more patients now... it's very late for him and he has to leave.. such unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable and I urge to not visit this gentleman ever again.Thank you for reading ....

Caring personality. He ensures that all tests done as per schedule. Very knowledgeable and resourceful. Always available at the time of need . I highly recommend him as family doctor Stay blessed.

Its been more than five years with this clinic.One of the best family physician in Mississauga.Staff is very caring and cooperative as well.

Would give 0 stars if possible. The clinic is very ineffective and the admin assistant is a whole another nightmare. Such an unreasonable crude woman, heard her gossiping about patients medical problems and making fun of them with another lady behind the front desk. The doctor is sub-average at best but his kind and polite demeanour makes up for his lack of medical knowledge and skills. I went to the doctor with a back problem and had to suggest to him myself on what medicine I could be prescribed that wouldn’t affect kidney function in the long run based on my experience with another doctor previously. He didn’t even know how to read my MRI results proficiently and interpret them medically. Instead he chose to ignore them saying it doesn’t matter what the MRI report says. I also heard another woman complaining that she was seeing a heart specialist who recommended her a certain medicine, he himself confessed that he hadn’t heard about it since he studied medicine in Pakistan. You would atleast expect doctors to keep themselves updated while in the field of medicine but don’t expect that at this clinic. Just giving people a heads up, dealing with the front lady and this doctor will be extremely hard so brace yourself when you come. The lady is very unprofessional, very good undeserving of working in the healthcare industry or that matter working anywhere at all. Wonder where these people come from and think they should get a job in the Canadian workforce with worst work ethics and lack of professionalism.
