Once Upon A Child

I’ll start with a positive- lots of selection. Downsides- Hard to navigate through the store with my stroller as the aisles are pretty tight. Additionally, I did not have a great experience my last few visits. Some of the staff were overheard making unprofessional comments and some seemed a bit too judgmental.

I would leave less . This store is a joke . I came 4 times to have a quote each time was a different story oh were full 15 min after opening noone in sight. Come back in an hr then oh were full etc . Its a waste of time gas energy. I have donate the nuby potty good condition except a scuff mark 3 bathtubs and a diaper genie .They really need to realize the stuff they sell isnt any better lol

I loooove once upon a child. I legitimately buy ALL my daughters clothes here. They have great sales and selection. I mostly only go for their sales because that’s when they have the absolute best prices and everything is reasonable or better.My negatives are-I have noticed the price gouging on the used clothing in the last 6 months to a year. $8 for a pair of 2T shorts… crazy! My last couple visits I’ve had to pass up on a lot of items because the prices just wasn’t worth what the item was.The aisles are very small and hard to navigate with a stroller or their own shopping carts.Sometimes staff can be a bit … mean girl? I don’t know how else to describe it haha. I’ve never had anyone be rude. BUT I have been caught standing at the cash ready to pay for 5 minutes (and sometimes longer) as they ignore that I’m there and continue to fold clothes and chat amongst themselves.

Very crowded, some items smell of smoke. I have been a selling customer, and also purchasing from this store. I stopped going, because the staff is very rude and condescending.

I would give 6 stars if I could. I brought clothes to sell today and I could not have had a better experience. The staff was friendly, professional and went out of their way to help and accommodate me, even sending multiple members out to my car to grab one of my many totes. They were gracious and patient with the large quantity and made me feel very comfortable. I was so pleased with the speed and efficiency that they processed my order. When I returned for my quote, I was astonished with the generous amount. While waiting, I enjoyed shopping in the exceptionally clean, incredibly well-organized and large variety of clothing, toys and books. Thank you, OUAC Brantford, for this amazing experience! I will definitely be recommending you and returning soon!!

Guess no body is talking about how much they pay. First hand review of handing in brand new clothes for which they paid $2.6 per set roughly for 11 items total. Absolutely not worth it if you can sell yourself. 3 stars as it is a good absolute last resort if you are unable to sell. Overall great experience but the pricing can be much better.

Edited: putting down to a 1 star because they've recently started selling appetite suppressant patches for kids?!?!? I don't care if they work or not, the fact that the store is selling a product that reinforces eating disorders and is for kids under 8 is disgusting. Do better. Taking my business and items of my growing toddler elsewhere.It's a good place to get decent 2nd hand clothes at a good price. It can be a little crowded and the aisles are narrow but that's because they're putting so much stuff in a small area. I'm also not a fan of the parking in that plaza but it's doable.

I am so confused at all the negative reviews. Reading through them all, it seems as though most are silly things. You are quoted a price and do not have to accept it, the stores are ALL crowded, not just this one and personally, that just means a lot of clothes which I am okay with. Also, the person saying the prices are insane, what? This is the cheapest place to go for all kids clothes. I would say 80% of my children's clothes come from there and I save a ton of money that way.My personal experience at this location has been great. Staff were always kind as well to me. The only thing that can be frustrating is using a gift card lol. I always get gift cards from family and the poor girls at the counter never know what to do. I won't lower my star rating for it because they are always trying their hardest. I believe I was in there for about 30 mins last week while they tried to figure it out. They were very apologetic and figured it out eventually.

Great store for kids items!You can buy items or sell your no longer needed items to them.They also have toys, baby equipment, and diapers.
