I would strongly suggest spending your money elsewhere. A supposed, completely refurbished washing machine has stopped working properly and is just outside warranty. Either/combination of the following: parts that needed to be replaced were not, parts were replaced with used parts or parts are of poor quality. Regardless of the reason, this is an extremely disappointing purchase, especially considering that you can buy a brand new washing machine for $500. Bye, bye $300, wasn't such a good deal after all. AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO MENTION: one of the parts that were claimed to be replaced with new, which I find unbelievable, since this particular part for this machine costs over $200. Buyer beware.

Major appliances is the best place in the city to get your appliances. Kevin was super helpful when I needed to choose appliances for my entire custom kitchen. They carry all of the major appliance brands. Not a fancy showroom, but you get much better prices than the big showroom stores.

I wanted to share my experience so noone has to go through what I did. I purchased a dishwasher Jan 2019. By December the dishwash had leaked onto our hardwood. We had to put in a claim to replace our flooring as the water damaged everything(15000 later). I called and spoke to Brian who is themanager". After telling him what happened and asking if he could send someone out he said nothing except "$80". I then asked what the $80 was for and within 2 minutes Brian raised his voice at me and told me i should have called before the 1 year. I tryed to explain to him that we had alot going on and then the covid happened. He then hung up on me. I have called several times and Brian continued to ignor my calls and if he spoke to me he would hang up within the first 2 words said. A few days later i called and just asked him to send someone to fix it regardless of the cost. He confirmed twice that he would find someone but never called back. Im blown away thay this is what i am left with. I would never ever ever purchase something from this store. I guess it pays off to buy at the bigger stoeres where they are willing to help and service your appliances after the 1 year or during. Its really sad that this one experience turned out like this. I hope noone has to go through what i did."

Major appliances is hassle free. The sales person was very knowledgeable and the showroom was full of possibilities. Brian made sure that I bought the right appliances for my kitchen. The delivery and installation was smooth. They showed up when they said and took away my old appliances. Thank you Major appliances!

They really took care of me today. My family has been going here for years with rave reviews. This time my washing machine broke down. They scheduled me a quick repair man visit. Bill knew his stuff and gave me his honest opinion. The repair wasn't worth it since the cost would be more then a new one. Bill and I agreed I should look in their showroom for a refurbished unit. Bill beat me to the store. When I arrived the sales manager was ready for me with great suggestions. He provided me with a deal on the service call and the refurbished washing machine I chose. With the 1 year warranty and price, they can not be beat. The service I received was top to bottom superb. Within minutes they wrapped it and put it on my truck. They even took my old machine for free. Number one appliance store in Calgary.

From the start of my introduction to Brian, to finalizing my payment for my new Electrolux washer & dryer, I was impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and great customer service. I felt very comfortable with the buying process, and most importantly, I knew I could trust him.When my appliances were delivered, the two gentleman (sorry I forgot their names) were not only extremely friendly, they were actually early, plus very professional. They were careful, didn't rush, knew what they were doing and I felt very confident in their abilities to install the washer and dryer. To say the least, I will never buy appliances from anyone but Major Appliances! I most definitely highly recommend them for your go to place for appliances!Now having used my washer and dryer, I am blown away by how well they work, how quiet they are and beyond efficient. I love them!

I just purchased a new fridge from Major Appliances. We were in a bind as our current one quit. Prices here are so competitive here and they were able to arrange sameday delivery. Can't say enough good things about Kevin. He is so knowledgeable on all products, very honest and super helpful when trying to decide what model was the right fit for my family. The showroom is nothing fancy but don't let that stop you. Highly recommend when you are shopping around, check this place out and ask for Kevin. You won't be disappointed!!!

Well. After desperately trying to find a fridge to replace our suddenly non functional one I spend hours calling around and trying to find one in stock. No one had any in what I needed thanks to the covid-1984. I spoke with Dawn who spent a fair bit of time working on calling suppliers to try to get me one asap. They gave me an awesome price way below msrp thanks to a huge sale and We ordered it, I would have waited two weeks to get it. Which is actually the best anyone could do for me. The next day I found a used one and purchased it. Even though it was a special order she was able to cancel it. She was awesome to deal with. Genuine and truly helpful. The next appliance I buy will be from these guys and hopefully I will have the please of dealing with her again.

Beautiful matching front load washer and dryer set and medium size upright freezer delivered for $100 to 2 different locations. The movers removed the old dryer and duct and installed the new dryer and duct and installed the washing machine with new hoses and leveled both machines. It took over an hour but I am glad it's done properly.Kevin in the office/warehouse is friendly and helpful.I have bought appliances there for many, many years.Fridge prices were too steep though.
