Carmen is lovely! If you are shy like me, do not worry. She is very friendly and welcoming. She does a fantastic job and is fast too. The wax she uses does not irritate my skin either. I highly recommend trying Body Politik! Thank you again!

Always feel welcomed and comfortable there. Carmen is funny, friendly and makes you feel at ease right away. I deal with some hung ups about my body, so I wanted a positive. relaxing waxing experience and I got just that! Always leave feeling great and smooth :). Highly recommend.

Carmen is a total pro! Very welcoming and easy to talk to, plus she was super speedy and professional. As someone with a low pain tolerance, I found this experience quite pleasant and I would absolutely recommend and return.

I could not say enough good things about Carmen. I started going to her for my waxing needs about 4-5 years ago and have never stopped recommending her to everyone in my life. She is truly a safe spot for fat and gender variant clients, which is SO hard to find.The past year or so I have been getting really bad and painful ingrown hairs and bumps on my inner thighs. She recommended her Bush Balm and Tender Skin products and after a couple weeks I'm already seeing amazing results.She is so knowledgeable at what she does and despite hair removal being an un-comfy process, I always look forward to our monthly chats and catch ups.

Carmen is the absolute bomb. I go to her for my waxing needs and also get my lashes lifted and tinted by her. She is incredibly professional and kind.Carmen's space is clean, cute and comfortable. She keeps high standards and I really appreciate that. Carmen is also passionate about being an inclusive business and welcomes all genders and bodies. I love that she asks for pronouns in the booking form and the language on her site is clear about her committment to being inclusive.On top of all this, she's really great to be around and even something as intimate as a Brazilian wax has zero awkwardness. I am so happy I found Carmen! I could not be happier.

I have been seeing Carmen for the last 2.5 years, she is fast, professional, fun, and I always feel at ease. The waxing is much less painful than other places I've tried, and it's just such a pleasant experience. Carmen is awesome and I highly recommend her!

Cannot recommend Body Politik enough! Had my first wax here and it was the best experience. Carmen was incredibly professional and kind and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. Was very quick and WAY less painful than I was expecting. Do not hesitate at all to book here even if you've never been waxed before!!

I cannot stress how great Carmen is! She gives the least painful waxes (sounds crazy, I know) and is a genuinely lovely person, so you don't get any of that awkward waxing small talk! Carmen genuinely cares for her clients and it shows. So glad to have found her!
